Best supported club in the country? You bet. BBC has just reported that

"Premier League is set to welcome the 250 millionth attendee through the turnstiles since the competition started in 1992.

The attendances from tonight's two games will push the grand total over the quarter-billion mark. We currently stand at a grand total of 249,949,825.

Unsurprisingly, more fans have watched games at Old Trafford than any other club ground with 24,397,959 fans rattling through the turnstiles."

i.e. United have very nearly 10% of all Premier League attendances.

RIP Stephen Packer, a Liverpool under 9 who has lost his battle with cancer. Tragic at that age.

Sorry if you've answered this question before Eds but I just wanted to ask you, or any regular posters, what our genuine chances of signing Isco and Lars Bender appear to be right now? {Ed007's Note - If you use the search function you should find your answers.}

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Why do people press unbelievable for this?

I think that that young russian winger, Denis Cheryshev, from Real madrid is a good prospect and he's already 21. Any interest for this guy, Ed? {Ed002's Note - Real Madrid have had several clubs approach them regarding their B side winger Denis Cheryshev. With no intention to sell, offers from Zenit, Everton and Kuban Krasnodar have been spurned. Talk of interest from Metalist Kharkiv seems wide of the mark to me. However, interest in taking the player on loan might result in a more positive response.}

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Russians usually fail in PL and are fairly overpriced IMO.
Pavlyuchenko, arshavin, everton left winger can remember his name, pogrebnyak, zhirkov etc.

eds do you know of much interest in Wilfried Bony of Vitesse? he is a goal machine in the Eredivisie.

thanks

ms85 {Ed002's Note - Wilfried Bony was of interest to Newcastle over the summer and has been a player Chelsea have been considering for a while. Right now there is varying degrees of interest from Aston Villa, QPR, Liverpool, Everton and a couple of German sides. It would not be a surprise to see interest from other teams, but that is all there is at this time. The player has said he would like to join Chelsea.}

anchester United boss Sir Alex Fergusonis chasing Torino's Italian international centre half Angelo Ogbonna to bolster hisleaky defence.
Fergie's spies have watched the 24-year-old's last two games in Serie A, with the Premier League leaders looking at potential new faces in central defence because of concerns about their current crop at the position.
Ogbonna, who is of Nigerian descent, hasemerged as one of the best defenders in Italy after coming up the hard way with Torino during their time outside the top flight.
United have been on his trail for some time, but the search has intensified recently with the Reds still unsure what will happen with Rio Ferdinand in the long term.
Ferdinand may move on in the summer when he's due to be out of contract , and6ft 2in Ogbonna is very much in the frame to be his successor.

james1959 {Ed002's Note - Since last spring, Roma, AC Milan and Manchester United have all made enquiries with Torino regarding the sale of Ogbonna who at one time interested Arsenal and Lyn Oslo. The summer might be a more likely time to move.}

I think Hummels and perhaps one or two others are higher on the transfer target list for the summer if I am honest.

Man Utd aim to beat Liverpool for son of Swedish legend Henrik Larsson.

Jordan, 15, has shone as a midfielder for Hogaborgs BK and United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who signed Henrik in 2007, is keen.

Believable13 Unbelievable3

He won't get a first team game till he's 23 if SAF's in charge.

If any of the Eds are around - is there truth to any of the rumours circulating today re Taarabt, Baines, Schneider (or however you spell it!). Im guessing bar Baines its all rubbish? Thanks.

IrishRed {Ed002's Note - Hard to see if it is anything more than speculation right now.}

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Cheers 002

Agree0 Disagree0

There might be interest in Sneijder, definitley interest in Baines but I can't imagine there being any interest in the spoilt brat that is Taarabt.

Fresh!

Agree0 Disagree0

There will not be interest in Sneijder anymore.

Sydney!

Agree3 Disagree0

Syd all of our minds together can not comprehend wats going on in SAFs head put it this way if most of us where in charge an where offered him at say 15-20mil then there would be some hand snappin going on I'd love to have him here I for one think he fits our style I like given youth a chance but we can't pin all our hopes on young lads when other teams are building big teams so protect yourself an just say you don't know just like the rest of us......

Tarrabt was tipped to be a prem star. i havent seen it from him. id rather we kept Bebe than buy him!

"Man Utd boss Ferguson ponders shock move for QPR playmaker Taarabt" this was on tribalfootball

i dnt understand how is he going to improve our squad?? some of our reserves are far better than him.... So SIR ALEX plzzzz dnt even think of signing him..

REDCORE!!

Believable21 Unbelievable9

Taarabt is a very good player hard working and can beat a player and shoot. He will be a nice addition to our team. But what i want to no it why we are not after william....

Simz

Agree0 Disagree2

Would rather give bebe a start then sign tarrabt!

Agree1 Disagree0

If we buy Taraabt then we might as well give up. He is a lazy player always complaining to his teammates. We had one just like him who we sold to Fulham, so pls saf don't make another mistake.
I'd rather see our youth been given a chance than to buy an average player who only tries when he feels like it.

Joke post

Agree0 Disagree0

You cant argue that the lad isnt a potential match winner with bags of ability quick feet good set piece but will he ever drop the prima donna sulky ego
side of him i doubt it that been said id take him over young and giggs down the left

Agree0 Disagree1

Fergie's problem is that he has constantly seeked a new Cantona since losing the king all those years ago. He needs to realise that was a one off at that price, and there are very, very few players who have held a similar type of ability since. Forget it Fegie, Taraabt ain't going to do anything for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct, he'll be another flop who we'll buy for millions and then try to ofload in a couple of years for next to nothing.
If he's United class then why aren't City, Real and Barca following him?
Stay well clear saf, if you want class then you have to go and pay top dollar, cant get it on the cheap.

I would guess there is an agent behind this story didnt he used to play for harry who is now the boss and let him go for 1m not very often old harry gets it wrong with players hope it is just paper talk we need some power in the middle a wanyama or strootman and if we are looking to get a playmaker get isco he has been class this season katef
