@I thought the De Gea transfer would fall through and we would turn our attentions to Adler. I guess we will look at Neuer first. My prediction was Adler, I am stubborn so I will stick with it.

Do you still think Coentrao will be a United player this time next year?

Continued rumours all over the Spurs message boards over last few days (friend of mine a Spurs fan) - United to sign Modric AND Bale this summer. Many different figures quoted but the general concensus is £50m + Berbatov for the pair.

Personally I'd prefer Sneijder to Modric and would Bale mean the end for Nani?

If Spurs fail to finish top 4 then perhaps some of their players will crave CL football. This coupled with Redknapp's impending move to the England job. . . no smoke without fire.

If Berbatov is used in the deal we'll need another striker. I believe SAF will go for Lukaku. Plus c£20m for a top GK, we're talking a c£90m outlay. Seams unlikely. Ed, who would you think may be sold on? We would need some cash in plus we need to make room in the 25 man squad (over 21)?

I think United will buy a GK ( obvious ), a replacement for scholes - Sneijder is 1st choice, and a versatile player like douglas costa. If berbatov goes then expect a bid for benzema

How come? I think Nani is a player they might go after. Maybe even Rooney could go to Madrid, sadly.

Berbatov could be off to Italy with Roma and Juventus favourites to sign. SAF holding out for £14m but apparently the Italians will only pay £11m. United will allow Berbatov to leave as Chelsea have forced SAF's hand over Lukaku. SAF is a long time admirer and will match Chelsea's £18 offer.

A striker quartet of Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck and Lukaku looks powerful. Owen may still get a 12 month extension to add real strength to the squad.
