Here's a differant way of looking at things. Ed002 say's Chelsea have dropped intrest in Hazard due to his attitude, what if we have scouted Hazard and come to the same conclusion? But Sir Alex has decided to make our interest public to see if City will have a bite and try and sign him thus giving us time ans space to sign who Sir Alex really wants and meaning City have another bad egg to upset the dressing room along with Balotelli and Tevez? I think it's unlikely but you never know with Sir Alex.

I think you need to get a life my friend and stop giving your self a headache!

I don't buy into this who attitude problem theory. Sure he has had problems in the past but he seems to have kept his head down of late and we all know SAF isnt afraid to take on a player with a risky personality.

TK-Red

Agree0 Disagree0

He never said that Chelsea have dropped their interest in Hazard, he said a very influential person at the club worried about his attitude, that is all. Chelsea are still interested! Get you facts right!

PR!

Agree0 Disagree0

No offence mate but i just can't take life advice from someone who calls themselves Royal douche. lol.

Maybe TK, but so many people have mentioned his attitude problem and theres no smoke without fire. I doubt Sir Alex is trying to bait City personally but you never can tell with Sir Alex.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

No disrespect Shappy - you're one of the finest posters on this site, but wasn't there once a fine French league player with an attitude problem who Sir Alex turned into the King of OT?? ;)
20 Rising

Agree0 Disagree0

Chelsea were never looking at Hazard. Marko Marin has always been their target since August last term!! Even City aren't looking at Eden get over it!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm just hoping Fergie is worrying about who WE will sign and not wasting his time trying to set traps for other teams.

In fact, i'm pretty sure that's what he'll be doing.

Roberto Mancini has vowed to demonstrate his financial firepower in the summer transfer market. He's desperate to land Lille's Eden Hazard, has Edinson Cavani and Luka Modric in his sights, is interested in Robin van Persie but top of his wishlist is Wayne Rooney.

I know this is more about Man City but thought i'd post it because of the bit about Rooney

Believable2 Unbelievable21

If they dont lose Silva, Aguero or Tevez and they sell Dzeko, Ballotelli, Johnson and possibly Milner........and they buy Hazard and Van Persie :O then holy monkey nutz batman can you Imagine their strongest 11.

Silva, Nasri, Aguero, Tevez, Hazard VAn Persie .......I pray they dont succeed with all their targets

Agree0 Disagree0

All Mancini said was out of the United squad he would sign Rooney and Giggs if he was a few years later. That is all he said, of course the media will twist things and make it sound like he means he wants to sign Rooney in the summer.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

And unless they are selling Nasri where would Modric fit in?. For Experience and ball retention I would actually take Modric over Nasri tbh in their lineup.....ahaha waster turned down Utd and is now potenially guna be on the bench.......I dont think Van Persie would join them BUT If they bought Hazard and Modric.....then Jeez

Agree0 Disagree0

Ueah cos that lot would cost 250 million to buy no way they'd get all of them

Agree0 Disagree0

Nasri didnt turn down united. He wanted to join us but his agent talked him into listening to other offers ie. City! Once SAF found out he had held talks with city he broke the deal off!

Agree0 Disagree0

In the unlikely event of Modric leaving, it will be to Chelsea. The United rumours are all whistles & drums!!

Ed 2 who is it that Manutd are likely to be signing this summer?
Not Ed 4 :D {Ed002's Note - I am sure one or two from the lengthy list I gave you will arrive.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Wheres the list?

I wonder does Marin going to Chelsea mean they are no longer interested in Hazard?

G.A.G.U.S {Ed002's Note - Chelsea have maintained a long-term interest but one particularly influential party at the club sees the player as having an attitude problem (primarily related to previously well-publised issues and his constantly talking to the press).}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

What do you think of Chelsea signing Marin, Ed002?

G.A.G.U.S {Ed002's Note - I am sure he will be a good addition to the squad.}

Agree0 Disagree0

What was the price ED reports say 7-8 Mil euros? {Ed002's Note - It is unconfirmed but an initial payment around 8.5M euro is pretty close to the mark.}

Chelsea to sign Marko Marin
thought he would have been good for us too!!

Believable13 Unbelievable3

And for 8 just million! dont know why fergie didnt show more interest.

Agree0 Disagree0

I imagine he is a replacement for Meireles who will be leaving in the summer. He is a small tricky player similar to Mata. I think Chelsea are looking to copy Barcelona's style of football. Does anyone know the transfer fee?

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

7-8 Million Euros Sydney.

RED91

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe he is replacement for Malouda who would be shipped put and even possibly Kalou..

Shaun

Agree0 Disagree0

" no value in the Market"? Try telling us that now SAF.

Agree0 Disagree0

Now hear come all the people "we missed out on him". I remember when people were crying out that we missed out in Balotelli - look where that got Man City - SAF knows whats best for the club!

Agree0 Disagree0

Shame he's a good player, will be interesting to see if he can settle in the premier league. Chelsea's new team is starting to take shape.

__________Cech

_______Mikel_?
__Ramires__Mata__Marin
__________Torres

Looks good, all they need is a deep lying playmaker and they'll be set for life after Drogba Terry and Lampard.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

Guys im a Chelsea fan. im just wondering if Marko Marin is a good player?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a good player, but I'm not sure he has the strength for the Premier League. He's very small.

G.A.G.U.S

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a very good player technique wise and he has a good football brain, the only issue with him is he is very small and light weight making him easily push around. But in saying that Modric Silva Aguero and Mata are small players and have learned to adapt. If Marin can do the same then you've got yourself a very good player, i would expect him to be be abit like Ramires in that he may take awhile to settle but once he is he could be a very important player for you.

Shappy

Agree0 Disagree0

I've seen him today compared on twitter to Duff and Albrighton. {Ed004's Note - He must be good then...}

Agree0 Disagree0

We were credited with more interest in Marko Marin last summer i remember. Maybe he hasn't met certain expectations this year? One other thing about this is it could point to us getting Kagawa, Chelsea were after him but maybe turned their attention to Marin as they knew Kagawa's minds made up about a switch to Man United? Similar player, however Marin's preferred position is on the left wing not that Shinji can't play there.. Just a thought?

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

So who's signing is he, di matteo? Abramovic? Guardiola? Chelsea is on wierd club. parks.

Arsenal have taken significant steps towards a summer move for Athletic Bilbao's Javi Martinez, 23, but face a £32m fight with Manchester Untied and Barcelona to land the versatile Spanish international

Is he worth it at £32m? {Ed004's Note - 100% yes. I would drive him to Manchester if I thought there was even the slightest chance he would join us this year.}

Believable16 Unbelievable2

He's worth whatever in my eyes. Absolute class at CB and in a DM position.

United Till I Die 1987

Agree0 Disagree0

Offer £33mill if thats what it takes to get him

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd love it if Fergie started to build abit of a Spanish setup in United.. Obviously still having predominately English/British players though. Munian, Martinez, De Gea, Jordi Alba? Wont happen but we can dream

A.R {Ed004's Note - Would be brilliant if it happened but isn't Alba 100% going to Barcelona?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I d say he will join barca.unfortunately to play as a cb. {Ed004's Note - So do I. Isn't the Bilbao coach favourite to take over from Gaurdiola? Image a team of Valdes, Alves, Pique, Silva, Alba, Marintez, Iniesta, Xavi, Neymar, Messi and Sanchez from next year on for Barcelona. Don't think they have the finance for it all but that would be outstanding especially with the other squad players like Fabregas, Villa, Pedro, Pujol etc...}

Agree0 Disagree0

If that is barcelona's team for next year, i'm gonna start watching cricket instead..

Ozwald {Ed004's Note - I believe they already have deals in place for Neymar and Alba by the sounds of it, and I know they have looked at Silva from the other eds I think it was and well if they got him and martinez woah!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed004... and I would pay for your petrol

Oxred {Ed004's Note - Now all we need to do is get someone to buy the car...}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ferguson as good as said yest that he'll me sticking with bringing players through and the odd signing , think he'll be bargain hunting again in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed004, where are you getting your information that neymar to barca is a done deal, and jordi alba. Yea they may end up there and yea theyre linked to barca but that doesnt mean its a done deal.

Daniel {Ed004's Note - I am pretty sure both Barcelona and Santos have announced a deal for Neymar. Haven't Barcelona made a down payment. Also Alba is a free transfer in the summer and I am pretty sure he is 100% going to Barcelona, can't remember where I heard that or read it}

what does the ed think about gaston ramirez highly rated apparently
any good linked with liverpool or two left feet and cant tie his shoe laces

cjwales82 {Ed002's Note - As I have said previously Gaston Ramirez has been watched by Liverpool but I still remain unsure as to how strong the interest is from the club. This all dates back to before the January window and if the club were that interested then he was available in January for about 15M euro plus a signing on fee - but Liverpool did not follow up on their initial enquiry. However, Ramirez will move in the summer with interest being shown by Napoli, Inter Milan, Palermo and Juventus, who have made a firm offer. Unsubstantiated rumours suggest Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Manchester City, Spurs, Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid are also interested. Sevilla were interested but I understand that Ramirez has no interest in such a move. At present, Napoli are very much favourites for his signature. Discussions have now taken place between Bologna and Napoli - adding to discussions that have taken place with Juventus. And Napoli are very much favourites for his signature at this time. His agent remains as talkative as ever but as of March 30 there has been no offer to Bologna for the player from any English club - and this has been confirmed by his club, and now his agent.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Liverpool were all over Ramirez at one point, don't think United have ever been interested.

according to talksport we are closing in on a deal for kagawa from boroussia dortmund which I think would be a good signing. I still think we need another cm such as sneidjer, modric, martinez or witsel and a CB like Hummels also from dortmund {Ed002's Note - Liverpool, Manchester United, Udinese, Spurs, Villarreal and Valencia, who have shown an interest in Kagawa this past few months. Although Kagawa is considering an extension to his contrac the says that a move to Manchester United would be impossible to turn down. I think that he may well stay on in Germany next season. Reinhard Rauball has made it clear that there still hasn't been contact with Dortmund from another club.}
