asking for a transfer helped torres. depends on how much he wants to leave and further his career.
he must know that going to barca he'd be pretty much on the bench for most of the time, i hear that afellay is regretting heading there.
as for italy there's only really the milan clubs and probably Juve that would be worth signing for, but having already played in italy he's gotta be getting bored of the league.
i get what ya syaing though ed, you don't think its likely he's coming to england.
be a shame if we missed out on him, because as a player he genuinely excites me, well excites me a lot more than ashley young anyway.

if i was given the choice of £15 million on Young, or £15 million + Macheda for Sanchez i would take the second option.

@I would imagine £22m-£25m plus Macheda would be the figure, although I think United have someone else in mind as interest in Sanchez has cooled.
What is the situation with Sanchez Ed? Can you see United rivaling Chelsea for him in the summer or can you see Chelsea battling it out with Inter & Barcelona for his signature?

Manchester United may be tempted and may want to act now under the radar. Barcelona are the dark horses - I think they may go for Sanchez and loan him back for a year or even 18 months if they can agree a long enough contract.}

more than likely ed, probably nearer 20 minimum edging up towards 25. depends on how everyone values macheda as well.
the point i was trying to make though is rather than pay 15 for Young i'd rather put it towards sanchez and add the extra.

I sincerely hope that guys wrong about selling welbeck. Can't see it myself. Sell him yet keep macheda and owen? Bizarre. Really thought owen would go and personally i'd sell macheda or use him to get sanchez

United & Sunderland have agreed a £14 million move to allow Danny Welbeck to join Sunderland on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
Kiko Macheda will be out on loan again next season, I don't know if this will be in England or Italy though.
Mame Birma Diouf will be allowed to leave the club.
Paul Scholes may leave at the end of the season, Fergie wants him to stay on, But Scholesy knows next season is his last & is apparently weighing up wether to stay on at United or wait to see if it's possible for him to play for Oldham Athletic (decision will be made in next couple of weeks)
Tomasz Kuszczak will leave United at the end of the season
To many peoples displeasure (not mine though) Michael Carrick is close to agreeing a new contract, as is Michael Owen (1 year extension)
Have no idea who will be brought in as replacements for those departing though - sorry!

Forget Young. he is not United class. plus United are not even interested in him. Michael Owen will be sold in the summer. and our new no.7 will be ALEXIS SANCHEZ. .
Chelse and Inter tried their best, City tried a lot but still they couldnt sign him just because Udinese and United have a verbal agreement. may be a fee is already agreed too but I am not sure of that. .
