I honestly think, from what I've seen from Carvajal, that he is the weakest player in Real's team and I think he isn't a quality player at all. Clyne, Alves will be far better options.

Cavajhal is a beast. Great work rate at getting forward and back. And awesome distribution from the wing aswell as from depth.
For me, he is the better option of the three by a distance. Surely Alves' years will catch him, but Defo has another 1 or 2 at the top level. So he would be my consolation. Clyne is far too erratic for my liking, no doubt he has potential but in a 'Zaha' kinda way. He tends to go missing, and has 1 good game out of every 4 or 5. Just isn't consistent enough.

We will probably end up with Alves until a better option becomes viable

Alves will be very good for another year or 2 at which point hopefully McNair can replace him. Money saved and it gives McNair someone to learn from with the idea of taking over from Alves in the long run.

He is coming. He his not coming. depends what paper you read. no good second guessing. Or wishful thinking. first game of season, we will all know. Whether it's an exciting campaign or a disappointing one. only time will tell.

Just redo lupus if we aren't. We'd better have a damn good alternative because I personally think Fundogan is the best opportunity in the market right now. He can't sign for Barca and surely a sale to Bayern would be resisted by Dortmund.

I am not surprised if the stories of the club saying we have no interest are true. He is definitely not a number 6 and not sure what we are buying him for and where is he going to play?

The manager constantly talks about a team that has no balance and his inclusion does not solve anything but creates more headaches. Do you sit Mata Carrick or Herrera to play him. I would not as all 3 are better in my opinion.

I get a sense that Verrati is the guy we must buy and we might see a major effort to sign him now that PSG is done with their season so expect the stories toe start surfacing in the papers :)

question to the eds, can you tell us which clubs are interested in picking up our 'fringe' players and who we are most likely to loan out?

for me the rumour januzaj could be loaned to psv for a season would make a lot of sense in terms of his development. but i think he might get more game time in a 4-3-3 playing opposite depay with rooney up top so he may want to stay and fight for his place.
are villa wanting to keep clev? and do you think a club like bournmouth would be a good fit for wilson next year?
also, i know its still very early days but as it stands now, what are the chances that di maria could leave for psg? personally i think he could really own a spot next to herrera, infront of a carrick/ sneiderlin, where he would receive a lot of the ball and get back to his early form but is his heart really in it?
