Cavani is a Palermo player, not Napoli.
Therefore Napoli cannot offer him a new contract.

He is on a very low wage and Napoli are going to offer him a permanent contract at a significantly higher wage. The issue is whether Palermo will accept the fee offered and part ownership of two youngsters.}

If Berbatov is used in the deal we'll need another striker. I believe SAF will go for Lukaku. Plus c£20m for a top GK, we're talking a c£90m outlay. Seams unlikely. Ed, who would you think may be sold on? We would need some cash in plus we need to make room in the 25 man squad (over 21)?

@I believe he won't, the last thing we need right now is a very raw 17 year old who already thinks he is gods gift to football. He will inevitably end up at Chelsea or Ajax as Real Madrid have turned their attentions to more developed strikers. Cash in on one of our best players?

Havnt seen this on here already but, van der sar has come out publically that Manchester United have already decided on a keeper and it is not neur. so by the sounds of things everything is all tied up but who knows
