Now don't shoot me down, but from what iv heard from my mate (who likes to watch the Spanish and Portuguese league a lot) that Rodriguez isn't a target anymore as Porto want 30 million plus, he said that there was a sniff from us about Kelvin Mateus de Oliveira, the 19 year old Brazilian lad who has been dubbed to be the next Rivaldo. Any News ED, its the first iv heard of it.
NorthRed {Ed002's Note - That would be Kelvin and I have dealt with the subject previously.}

Well deal with it again! That's your job isn't it? The guy obviously missed it first time. Dear oh dear! {Ed002's Note - No that is not my job - did the club advertise for retromingent glifnards for supports or did you just migrate to it naturally? Jerk.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Quality reply ed002.

Ha I just nearly wet myself! Have to ask ed002 are you Simon Cowell? ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

A bit harsh Ed.

Pip {Ed002's Note - No, he is simply a jerk.}

Actually I am somewhat in agreement with the poster who said (possibly in the wrong tone) to go over it again, posters and readers alike cannot constantly be online and in some cases can miss topics which may or may not have been addressed

Yes there is the search function which can be used but in truth it does seem an awful lot of the time the ed's tend to shoot down questions and abuse the sites visitors only to be applauded by some of the more frequent sycophantic visitors *see above post (s) for example.

To summarize and I am aware this post has dragged, maybe posters could do their bit and search so as to save the ed's rehashing the same reply over and over but at the same time maybe the ed's could try and be a little less for want of a better term pompous.

United we stand

Agree 100% with united we stand, especially about the sycophants of which there are many of course led by our most famous poster, it must get boring retyping the same guff but it is part of the editors job, although I do take more notice of ed2 than anyone else on the site.
mick the red fireman. {Ed002's Note - It is not "part of the editors job".}

Cleverley vs Neville aside, it's been a quiet day on our page.

a couple of questions for the eds :
1- Is any prenier league club interested in lyon's Maxime Gonalons? I heard that Arsenal are scouting him a while back.

2- reports emerged during the summer that we are ibterested in Montpellier's Remy Cabella. Anything new on the matter?

3- Well with Schalke apparently searching for a new manager, coukd OGS be considered for the job? I would love to see him at a big club. Who knows, in a couple years' time he could be replacing the gaffer here.

Mick {Ed002's Note - On a number of occasions Frederic Guerra has said that Gonalons would only leave Lyon for Real or Napoli. He has taken over as captain so a January move is most unlikely. Cabella continues to interest from a number of clubs including Arsenal, Atalanta and Sampdoria. They have a couple of clear targets after it was made clear that there was no way that their preferred was not available. OGS is not being considered right now.}

Ed002, can I ask, other than Blanc who is the other candidate now Pep will move to BM? I quite like Ancelotti myself and he could be free in the summer. Thanks.

Sydney! {Ed002's Note - I think you have mis-read something here Syd. The question was about Schalke.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002, I did misread the post, but do you know if there is someone other than Blanc in the running now Pep has chosen BM? Or is Pep and option in 2. 5 years with SAF now sticking around until then? Have you heard anything new now our preferred choice (Pep) is no longer an option? Thanks. {Ed002's Note - I don't see Manchester United being in need of a manager this summer.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002, that reply says it all. Thanks. Back to the drawing board for the United hierarchy then. {Ed002's Note - Did you expect a new manager this summer? If you want an outside shot - how about taking the Schalke manager after he has completed one season in June 2014?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002, I thought there was a chance of Pep personally so yes I thought this may have been SAF's last season.

Who do you think Schalke will get as manager? {Ed002's Note - I really don't want to give an opinion on Schalke right now Syd - for reasons I acnnot go in to here.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed002, no problem.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely Ferguson will be here a couple more years, by which time Klopp will be coming to the end of his contract at Dortmund.
