Moussa Sissoko available for £15 million about 18 months ago then sold for around £1.8 million in January and will end up moving to a top club maybe even us for about £25 million in a year. Exact same as Cabaye.

Think he will be even better than Cabaye and at 1.8m even the boss can't say there is no value in the market he is a fantastic player for a long time at Toulouse but they are a small club in a small league he will kick on now a Yaya in the making and we missed a trick there Kate. f

Tommy I have watched him play on espn a few times he is a very good player in the mold of a Yaya and will be one we missed on for the price its a steal and I imagine he would be on low wages compared to top earners I have no doubt he will be a huge succsess and he will go on to a bigger club for a lot of money time will tell Katef

Very difficult to judge a player by one game, but at 1.8m surely we should have been at least interested. I know a lot of people have been gushing about carrick recently, but I can never remember him dominating a midfield but anything like the power drive and athletism that sissoko showed last night and he laid on the winner the previous game with a defence splitting pass the previous game.

I will admit that I've been arguing that our midfield has been abject for the last five years, but just look at the last 2 games we've played, in both our midfield was at times swamped which is a worrying sign. Don't let the fact that we are 10 points clear cloud your thinking. we still miss the Robson or keane that could destroy a team with tackles, power, pace and pure desire!

Everyone just jumping on the hype bus after his first performance for Newcastle. I would be very suprised if he ever gets a transfer to a big club.

I too watch the french league on espn so its not MOTD fever, he is quality and an absolute bargain at £1.8m. Considering what southampton paid for a player of the quality of jay rodriguez (circa £5m) who is complete rubbish. You don't get even a half decent championship player for £1.8m

I don't know if this has been answered 100 times already so I apologise in advance if it has, does anyone know if we have a genuine interest in James Rodriguez? I imagine he would cost a lot and I know we just got Zaha so are we even looking for another winger? I really hope we sell Nani I would bite someones hand off for 15m

Id bite someones hand off for a fiver nani hasn't performed to his obvious true potential. lazy, selfish and always makes the wrong decisions.

The only reason I would keep Nani atm is because Valencia is playing just as rubbish if not worse and we need some sort of competition. Our wingers are terrible this season, we need to play Kags more on the left.

I never fails to make me chuckle, some of the no name "analysis" of certain players. I swear some people get their opinions of Nani, amongst others, from the middle of a christmas cracker.

I take it you're a fan of Nani then TK. Tell me what isn't true about what no name is saying. I don't think the selfish part is fully justifiable but when he isn't being selfish he's giving the ball away
