Any chance of one of the eds summarising a brief overview of our targets this January similar to the one that was mentioned on the Chelsea page the other day?

So are we going to try and buy Marco Reus or are we going to go for someone who doesn't want to play for there team and go for Juan Mata click believable if u think we will go for Reus or click unbelievable if u think we will go for Mata

We won't get either.
Neither of these are realistic. We will be lucky to get one real first team player in, and if we do it's most likely to be a left back or hopefully a creative central midfielder. Koke, Herrera or someone like that would fit the role Giggs played against Leverkusen, or alternately, someone like Guarin could partner Carrick instead, using powerful runs forward to help open defences.
A winger would be great, but I can't see one being prioritized over a left back or partner for Carrick.
Id take any but can't see either! If we don't make any significant signings we won't be finishing in the top four.
I would be very surprised with either! I can't really see Chelsea wanting to deal with us after the Rooney debacle and its not like Mata hasn't got loads of suitors he would walk into most teams, and I would be over the moon with Reus but cannot see it.
I do think we will go for a left back as its desperate there at the moment and I hope a CM maybe a loanee or stop gap until summer when we can go for bigger targets.

Read yesterday (01/01/2014) and also today that united have reached an agreement with athletico Madrid for Koke is there any truth in this and if so when will this be confirmed. must say I hope so looks a quality player just what we need. also read that we are weighing up a possible club record bid for vidal from juventus any truth in this to

Other than for an irresistible amount of money, it's hard to see why Atletico would be interested in selling, or Koke in leaving a team from his own country team that's equal top of La Liga with Barcelona. The same for Vidal - why leave Juventus for a mid table English club in rainy old Manchester?
are offering odds of 1/1 on Koke moving to United by the end of the transfer window. Do they know something we dont?
If I be honest I have no doubt in my mind they wish to sell him however I could be wrong as they are a selling club and always sell their big name players for top dollar. I believe Koke, Costa and possibly Turan will be sold in next 6-12 months
