Agreed! How we aren't getting double figures for him, or at least very close to, is shocking! He was the best player in Portugal last year by all accounts and on his day he's a Worldie. I know he's very hit and miss (more often than not) but after a great season elsewhere I'd have actually liked him to have had pre season with the team. Unless we have an incoming player(s) of better quality.

We have to offset his wages, that's either lower the asking price or pay the difference between what they are paying him and what we were paying for the time that was left on his contract which i 5hink eas 3yrs,Its looks like they took a lower asking price to me.

Getting Nani off the wage bill, which was exacerbated by Moyes incredulous giving him a new deal, is great business at any price. Frankly I'm surprised anyone is dumb enough to pay more than his air fare.

If pants is the best player in a league campaign then OK fair enough. Granted it's a weaker league but he still did it in the Champions League games for them too. Less pressure, playing every week, being the main man, I don't know the reasons, but he was doing something right over there. £3.5m is well below what Nani should be going for. £7.5+ sounds more what we should be getting.

Usually when some clubs as strong as Real Madrid think they don't want to sell the player, they reject the offer immediately . No matter how poor their relation is with the player, they will hold them . It has been 2-3 days since our Ramos bid and i haven't heard any news coming from Madrid about not wanting to sell or rejecting the 29m bid if they consider it very less . So my question is, Is there a good chance that we will get Ramos ? May be the player is setting up a scene to bump his contract but maybe he really wants to move .
May be it is just my wishful thinking but i wouldn't be shocked if we sign him .
