Heard a rumour from a close source that Glenn whealen of stoke has caught the eye of Ferguson, due to his combatitive nature and tenacious tackling. Could be a good cheap buy to shore up our creaking midfield, plus he's got a wicked shot. With the players financial restrictment I believe more signings of this order could be the best to hope for. What you reckon ed?

Was told before re Rodwell and Henderson that it was one or the other in the summer with Henderson the more likely, but now being told it may well be both in the summer. Apparently SAF see's them both being able to play together in the future. I would rather Rodwell myself as I think he can play cm, holding mid, even creative/ attacking mid whereas at the moment Henderson is very much a right sided player (but not a winger if you know what I mean) more of a 4-4-2 diamond rm if you will. I'm hoping for Rodwell and Mario Goetze myself. MG is going to be an absolute star soon. Haven't heard anything else on Benzema so not sure what's happening there, there would be so many suitors for him when he leaves Real in the summer.
