I think it's crucial that we get off to a hot start next season from our current squad there are quite a few that will have no world cup at all which is good. But we also have quite a few that should go fairly deep in the tournament.
Let's hope all or players come back injury free.
Pre season gets messed up with players coming back at different times. Let's hope they all come back injury free.

Let's also hope that the club prioritise being prepared for the big season ahead - not short term profit making taking up the focus with the manager/ players having to work around a commercial schedule. Pipe dream I know, but these things can be the difference maker in a highly competitive league.

I appreciate our rivals will also be on the commercial hunt, but stepping out of the pack could pay bigger dividends and give us a slight advantage, which we will probably need given how lethargic we have looked for 6+ years.

Haven't posted in a while.

Lets hope we start to see more structure and organisation in the club ie boardroom, backroom staff. Still feel we still getting over a "hangover" since Sir Alex retired, in terms of we have declined and teams have caught up.

Feel like we have become dated in our approach. Still wondering why we haven't got a Director of Football at the club, unless Jose wants full control of the transfer within the club.

Our approach now until the beginning of next season will set the tone. Fans will be expecting us to compete and play more consistent. I feel like we are very inconsistent in terms of how the team plays. Manchester City have set a high standard. We must raise our game aswell or they will dominating the league as long Pep is their.

Good post shane. The bar has been raised we must accept, meet, and overcome the challenge. In every aspect. We need a few good additions i'd like to see someone step up and become our leader on the pitch.

If the bar had been raised then sterling would be the leagues top goal scorer.

I agree. Valencia even though he been a great player for us throughout the years. He doesn't come off as a leader type. I know they generally give it to the player who has served the club the longest.

Personally we missing a Roy Keane character player even though their only probably a hand full of those types left. Daniele De Rossi comes to my mind.

Pogba is suppose to be a future captain. Is that because he a natural leader or because he is the biggest name at the club. He gets compared to Vieria a lot, but at this moment I don't see the sort of leadership (that Vieria had) in Pogba.

This is a example of what is needed in Pogba for example to truly become a great. If he wants to get better. Then it is the little things like this that will determine if he becomes a player that either fulfill this world class potential or be doesn't reach his full potential.

Ken, we need a hot start, was that a typo? Did you mean head start? That’s what we need.
