whats the chance of inter selling sneijder in Jan to raise funds to buy tevez
jred

Believable6 Unbelievable32

Who needs him he had his chance, i'd rather bring someone else in who wants the red shirt not a hefty pay cheque.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who would you bring in
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Guy who posted the first comment, you're a muppet jred was just asking what the chances of inter selling sneijder in january, not necessarily to us..

Agree0 Disagree0

Sick of people accusing schjnder(sorry for the spelling) of being greedy nobody on this site knows what went on during the summer. Would love to see him at utd if it 10 or 30 million the guy is class. Everybody seems to forget how much Rooney ferdindand etc are earning plus ronnie was not earning small money either. Yes snejder {Ed001's Note - he asked for over £220k a week, that is definite.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry folks just to foow on from my last text pressed the send button before I finished.. Last point on schjder he is 28 but would we complain if we won the big trophies if he was in our team? Our midfield is very poor at the moment with Anderson not good enough or Fletcher carrick etc hopefully cleverly can tighten us up and vidic when he comes back

Agree0 Disagree0

Anderson not good enough?!! Hes been class from the start of the season, setting up through balls, changing direction of play with across field diagonal passes, getting assists & goals!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you seen Anderson defending?? He lets people get in behind him and does not seem bothered. I really thought this year would be his year since he got into the team but does not seem interested. Its all well and good spreading passes etc but the hard graft starts for him by defending , he should take a leaf out of Scholes who coulld not tackle but made the effort, if he wants another example look at Giggs. Hope I am proved wrong with Anderson but I have my doubts

'Damian M'

And buying Sneijder will take the defensive load off of Anderson? come on mate, we need a box to box or just combative midfielder until the youth are ready to step up into the first team.

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

Andersons a creative midfielder, not a defensive midfielder! Although he does fight to get the ball back. When cleverly plays he tracks back and goes forward which works!

Agree0 Disagree0

The question is not what type of player anderson is but if his good enough , this year is a big year for him and i think he needs to step up and prove his ability.
also the debate about creative defensive , the best midfielders do both
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair to Anderson he has started to add goals now which most people were bashing him over last year. Now its he doesn't track back enough.

As to who would i bring in,firstly Modric, secondly Rodwell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Modric would be a top class addition to any team, he would certainly improve the Utd team.... Rodwell, I'm sorry I just don't see it with him, if you're talking D.Mid then De Rossi would be good for 3 years and cheap(coming to the end of his contract), Sissoko, not much older than Rodwell and probably cheaper (a lot better IMO).... HERBIE

In my opinion our greatest problem in CM has been outlined in the above posts, without anyone specifically mentioning it.

We need players playing in definite roles. See Barca, Man City or even Chelsea - the CM players know their roles. Lets take Man City for instance, Barry and Toure will sit deep, with one allowed to go forward when needed. Silva is then free to be crative and play linkup. Barca similarly have Busquets to sit deep and break up play, Xavi and Iniesta will be more creative with Iniesta usually looking to press further forward for goals

At Man Utd we have too many players who arent specialising in either defence, attack or creativity on a regular basis.

When Anderson & Cleverly play together (our best partnership so far this year) who is going to continuously break up opposition attacks and play the simple ball? Neither is specialised at that. Carrick is poor defensively, and uninspiring going forward. Fletcher is probably our only recognised DM so I really hope he gets back to his best quickly. Without Fletcher in form and playing we have no-one to play that role so our midfield will always be make-shift IMO

If Fletcher gets injured or never gets back to his best, then we may be in real trouble come the big games at the end of the season

Agree0 Disagree0

You dont need to be a world class player to win the ball back when the opposition have it and at least make an effort to do it. AS a previous post stated the good players do it game in game out, Andersons has all the skills to become a world class player but I think his attitude to getting the ball back when he does not have it lets him down and the team. Yes I do think Scjnder would be a great buy for us as he wins the ball, can pick a pass and has a football brain when on the pitch. I really hope CLeverley can make the step up too and improve our midfield and the sooner Vidic comes back the better

I think we will buy a left back in january transfer window,..to cover Evra and for the future.
The Da silva brothers perform really well when they play right back.

And Shirt No 2 is still vacant..!

MGM

Believable11 Unbelievable4

I recks eventually smalling will get number 2, if not him then rafael.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah smalling or either of the da silva brother's are most likely to get the number 2 rather than someone we bring in

Ozwald

Agree0 Disagree0

I can see the Da Silva's taking 2 and 3 (when Evra goes) and Smalling taking 5 when Rio leaves/retires.

Red Dawn

Agree0 Disagree0

I think we should move Fabio forward, he is so suspect at full back. Against Arsenal in the cup last year, he was great on the wing. I think his place is more there.

Sanshine

Agree0 Disagree0

I think evra is finished now why dont we sign leighton baines from everton hes fantastic also wouldnt mind kyle walker from spurs hes gonna be world class
THE HEMMINATOR

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree baines would be the perfect replacement.

hey guys,...latest Manutd rumour tXR is
* Bruno Soriano, 27, plays in midfield and at fullback for Villarreal and is being linked with a €10 million move to United.

Cadena Ser says United have already made contact with Villarreal to register their interest and are watching Soriano leading up to the January market.

Soriano can play anywhere on the left-side of midfield.

Believable5 Unbelievable15

Can't see him being used as a left midfielder at United. We have enough wingers in our team as it is.

If he comes... maybe he'll be a back up for Evra.

Agree0 Disagree0

U r d best...keep it up buddy

Agree0 Disagree0

Found it funny how you say he can play anywhere on the left side of midfield.....so basically you are telling us he can play left midfield and thats it?

Robbo

Agree0 Disagree0

He's primarily a defensive midfielder

Agree0 Disagree0

I wrote this days ago

Agree0 Disagree0

So did I, so why do you need the credit for a rumour that you got off the internet anyway?
