Pretty disappointed not to see Cleverley or Jones. I was hoping they would gather some experience.

Believable15 Unbelievable2

They will be given their chance in friendlies where there is no pressure to perform

Gotze scored a wonder goal! He is class. Watch him. I dare you to say we don't want or need him.

Believable20 Unbelievable1

We do not need him... lol

no seriously if he continues this season to get better and better and shows this level of play in the cl then unless we have already agreed a fee (which I dealt we have) then you are looking at £40m + next summer to get him.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think in order to sign we need Dortmund to sell obviously and his commitment. I'm sure other big clubs will compete for him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah but why didn't he start? also don't forget he came on and played against a very tired austrian defence which isn't the greatest in the world, you would not be able to run into that much space against any top team..

Agree0 Disagree0

Uli hones bayner president has just confirmed they are interested
"if he becomes available we will hold talks , many players have said they would not come but then have"
I think he will end up at Madrid or bayner

Lets see how Young does in the centre.

Sydney!

Believable18 Unbelievable1

Young and Rooney already linking up well...bodes well for us....just hope they both come back fully fit after the international brak! fingers crossed

Have to say being 3.0 up we now have a very good chance of seeing Cleverley & possibly Jones.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Cleverly and jones are in the stands .

'TEDDY'

Didn't realise as I missed the bench line-up.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

No worries Syd
I also would of loved to see Cleverly instead of Barry but never mind.

Depending on how things are going for the respected clubs, I think United and Chelsea will slug it out for Modric in January. He will be one the few players who will be eligible for the Champions League during this transfer window.

Believable15 Unbelievable6

Ooooh i hope so! he would fit our style and tuck in behind Rooney better than any of the other mentioned "transfer targets" this summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree...i do think we did want a cm - if a sneijder deal was close we must have done. Modric would be perfect and he has been praised by anyone who's anyone at Old Trafford.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know a late comment to this post, but i have a sneaky feeling fergie and car dealer Harry have some sort of deal going on here. I think it will also involve a current united player maybe Berb in a swap and us giving some cash. I really can see it. I think Harry care deeler would choose us over Chelsea to do Business with. Also tonight in internationals i noticed Ozils and Sneijder got themselves a few goals between them. If only we had pushed them transfers further.
Anyway as always just my opinion and keep up the good work, sad to see a lack of posts since the window shut.

Just wondering though if modric plays in uefa cup will that not cup tie him for champo league too?? Just a question

Bernard

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont think it cup ties him, Chelsea signed Torres last season and he was able to play against us in champos league even though he had played for Liverpool in the Europa league.

We won't get sneijder now. You only get one chance with fergie, unless he knows you could really be something.

Jamesmack8

Believable17 Unbelievable2

Well i don't what sneijder 'could be' but he already is a true class act, don't try saying otherwise because you'll be wrong

When do premier league teams have to enter their 25-man squad? I would like to know the youth that will be entered for us.

Haze

Believable13 Unbelievable1

Youth don't have to be submitted. Only players 21 or over.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't have to put youth (under 21) players in your squad.

Walrus

Agree0 Disagree0

Players under the age of 21 by jan 1st 2012 are not entered into the 25 man squad. i.e Phil Jones and David De Gea will not be in the 25 man squad

Agree0 Disagree0

I think under 21's don't have to be included in the 25 man squad, so they can play at any time but do not have to be registered in your initial 25 man squad. I think the deadline is today.

Andy B

Agree0 Disagree0

Players under the age of 21 do not have to be registered anyway, so it is irrelevant in regards to our youth players. I'm sure the squad registration would have been required yesterday after the transfer window had closed.

Jerv

Agree0 Disagree0

I take it players under the age of 21 don't have to be registered then?

Del boy

Agree0 Disagree0

Ah right thanks guys! Wanna see what involvement Paul Pogba plays throughout the season in the PL!

If the sneijder deal was soooo close why dont we get sneijder on loan and buy him in january. food for thought. :

Believable4 Unbelievable21

Because Premier League clubs aren't allowed to sign players on loan unless its during the transfer window, but Premier League clubs can loan players out to the lower leagues,

Agree0 Disagree0

The loan window is not open for premier league clubs, hence the reason why

Agree0 Disagree0

You cant say hence the reason why...its a bit like saying because because......

TK-Red

*Sorry for being a grammar Nazi when mine can be shocking at times ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

If we get him in January he will be cup-tied and therefore won't be able to play in European games until the following season.

Does anyone know when the loan window opens and closes?

Richie R

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Pretty sure it's today it opens but don't know when it closes.
