Standard liege confirm Manchester united have had a £12,000,000 pound bid accepted and is expected to complete personal terms before end of current transfer market
it's on wiki now and yes I know it can be doctored but that's been done in the last few hours. Just a rumour maybe but this interet has been going on for ages and is just like the van nistelrooy saga. Might be interesting tomorrow but most importantly is he actually top draw?

I really think that were going to sign someone on deadline day and heres why i think we will. Fergie wanted Cleverley to stay at united this season and be part of the squad, yet all of a sudden he's sending him out on loan to wigan, hhmmm the only reason he would send him out on loan now is if he thought he wouldn't get many chances to play especially if another player comes in. I don't believe the Rodwell story or though id love it to be true, but ive got a feeling were going to buy someone on deadline day. Really hoping for a scoring CM or AM

In response to this 'Cleverley on loan equals a new signing' stuff.
Cleverley has come through the youth setup, he wasnt in last years squad (as he was at Watford) and so if he leaves on loan it doesn't make us a midfielder short. Sir Alex has said that he would get his chance this year and if he doesn't it's probably because of Anderson returning from injury sooner than expected and the current form of Scholes.
Id like to believe that Rodwell is on his way but i know where that rumour came from (Custis doesn't have insider knowledge, he just picked up a rumour from somewhere), so im not holding my breath.
If we do sign someone it will most likely be because another club has moved for one of Fergie's targets, otherwise the chequebook's closed.

Tom Cleverley to join Wigan on loan for the season (source sky sports), where he will gain the Premier League experience needed to start for United come next season.
This leaves SAF minus another midfielder, clearly leaving Cleverley go shows he is about to make a deadline day move. I believe a big name player will be revealed tomorrow night.
Maybe the Seagull was right? , i look forward to hearing from him tomorrow and United's new signing.

Apparently Man United are using the loans of MB Diouf and Danny Welbeck to track the progress of Blackburn youngsters Phil Jones and Steven N'Zonzi and Sunderland youngsters Lee Cattermole and Jordan Henderson

Supposedly, Cleverley is being loaned out this season, prehaps meaning Fergie has some one in mind (a midfielder?) meaning Cleverley wouldn't get a game? Just an observation :D Ed? ?
Er, if someone was coming in to stop Cleverley getting a game he would be sold not loaned. It will be an error from the manager if Cleverley doesn't get a chance. Our much vaunted youth programme throws up a talented lad yet we still don't know if he is good enough at 21.
We need to buy a midfield player but not instead of Cleverley.
Reply: I meant that prehaps fergie has a player in mind that would keep cleverley out of the team for this season at least, but believes he has potential so would loan him out to get a feel of the premier league :D (once again, just an observation)

Sir Alex Ferguson will make a deadline day move for Jack Rodwell of Everton. Sir Alex will offer £10-15m and Michael Carrick for the England under-21 player. Sir Alex could wait till next summer but is keen to test Everton's resolve and try and push a deal through in the next 24 hours.
Also Sir Alex is very keen on Gareth Bale from Tottenham however will wait till next summer to try and make a move. Bale will see how tottenham fair in both the premier league and champions league and could be interested in a move north next summer as a replacement to Wales legend Ryan Giggs.
Sir Alex will have to pay a premium for both players as they both signed new contracts recently but Manchester United transfer policy allows them to buy young talent with potential at premium prices.
