Man Utd are going to sign 2 players in the summer. Jack Rodwell of Everton and David de Gea of Atletico. Both players would be around £15m - £19m. Gary Neville and Edwin Vandersar will both retire at the end of the season. Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes may go on for another year to pass on experience to the younger players. As Anders Lindegard has already been signed Tomasz Kuszczak's leaving and Owen Hargreaves and Michael Owen are both going to be released. Cleverley and Welbeck will both be recalled from loan when their loans end in the summer. Some youth players may be signed and players such as Reece Brown, Ravel Morrison, Paul Pogba and Joshua King will be promoted to the first team. Others who may leave are Mame Diouf, Danny Drinkwater, James Chester, Darron Gibson and Jonny Evans.

Ben Fosters' performance's this season for Birmingham have made sir Alex think he may have been too hasty in letting the talented keeper leave old trafford especially with van der sar retiring , unreliable Tomasz Kuszczak and untried Anders Lindegaard.

@Its no secret that United are tracking him, Hamburg & Juve too, but it still means nothing to us, i have known for a while that Schalke, Hamburg, United, Juve, Real & Inter were all interested but i never knew Valencia was interested.

It seems to me he has mentioned Inter & United as they are the teams he wants from the interested parties. I know him and his pops are big United fans, Sanchez was a little partial towards Real too but his main love was Colo Colo.

I think this means. . .Chilean football player, now playing for Udinese, italy. Now with Inter and Manchester after mio [I don't know what mio means], we will see what happens.

Just heard from a friend travelling in Italy that United are rumoured to be using Macheda's loan move as a chance to open talks with Palermo regarding Javier Pastore. Not assured of anything, as Barca and Real are both interested as well, but it seems to be a persistent rumour in Italy. Loan may also provide a first-refusal on Macheda should he one day decide to move on permanently. For now, Macheda is a loan deal possibility, nothing more. .

I do lots of city link taxi rides and according to one of my suited geezers today who was on his way back to Scouseville Rodwell's departure is expected by Club and fans alike and Moyes knowing he will be off has told him to stay in the Prem and the only place he should go is Utd to build on his typically english style of play. . thank you kindly Mr Moyes. .good old bud of SAF. that would be nice.

I remember Darklard08 say he would opt for Fellaini in the centre, Rainfish would like to see Stephen Ireland brought in, we could swap Gibbo for him, hes just 24, hes a decent box to box player when happy and he would be happy at United, although i doubt this is Rainfish's first choice midfielder. Red Man wants Cesc to be bought even though there is more chance of City winning La Liga this year. Personally i would like to see maybe Arturo Vidal, i would opt for De Gea, Cech was just 23 when Chelsea bought him, lets take a gamble on him, both of these players would cost around 25m.

Remember sydney! that there will be one price for other clubs and one price for united for buying torres. He is a good professional and i think he will never join united even if we made a huge bid and gave insane money. If that was what he wanted, he would have gone against the owners there like rooney did but he didn't. I think he has too much respect for liverpool to join another premier league club. I think he would move to italy. I personally do not believe he will add much to the squad with hernandez rooney and berbatov already here.

I seriously do not know how we are going to replace hargreaves even if we had the money. We have a good midfield apart from a player like hargreaves. If he was back i wouldn't even want a signing in the center maybe. I have not watched vidal and i don't think ireland or fellaini will be the answer. I have watched defour in belgium and i think he is really good but i do not know what will happen there. He seems to get injuries. We need somebody who can play in both a 4-4-2 and a 4-3-3 which is the major difficulty. Javi Martinez is doing well too. As for the keeper situation i am impressed with De Gea and if we could do a deal he could do well. I wouldn't mind Neuer though. Both these positions are really tough to fill and very essential indeed and SAF is right to wait and get the right man rather than spend recklessly. With a defensive minded player controlling the game from the halfway line winning tackles ther and anderson nani valencia rooney and berbatov breaking at opponents we will have a lethal combination indeed and could get in a third midfielder in fletcher or carrick whenever needed and rotate them in a 4-4-2.

I really believe in the current squad and it is just a consistent midfielder away from being back to our best.

@They would have to pay us 6.8m to take him, he's far too slow for the Premiership and has no defensive qualities whatsoever. Wages would be ridiculous.

@But they have no assets to be able to borrow 300m. This has baffled everyone, the business side of the world see no way they could have borrowed the money. They have not borrowed against United or Tampa, the rest of their businesses are in negative equity.

Businessmen in America think they have sold shares in Manchester United, or partially sold part of the club. But they have denied this. There is no way they could borrow nearly $500m with nothing to secure the debt against.

I am confused LOL.

Thiago Alcantara, and Romelu Lukaku are both being linked with United (Goal.com and Imscouting.com respectively), also Diarra from Real Madrid And Eden Hazard of Lille. I think by the looks of things Diarra is more or less a done deal Whilst i Think we will sign 1 of Alcantara and Lukaku. As SAF is all about Young Talent, maybe a summer move for Hazard (if someone don't capatalise on him in January). Also a move for De Gea is on the cards, but that'll be in the summer also. Welbeck and Cleverly will stay on loan, Macheda will going Lazio on Loan with a view to buy. And Owen will be either loaned or let go of! !

@Diarra a done deal? Why because the Sun printed an identical article as they printed three months ago 'word for word', just regurgitating a completely made-up story from August, then the Mirror & Goal.com copy the exact same story by adding to the article "Today's other papers believe blah blah blah"

Wake-up fella, i would be surprised if just one of those rumours happen. In fact i am confident none of those targets will be at United by September.

Just heard that Man Utd are interested in Alberto Gillardino of Florientina for 15M plus Macheda.

I think alot of rumours will come from Macheda being loaned like Sanchez etc. I don't know whether Gillardino would be a good signing but if we got rid of Owen and had him on the bench with Hernandez i think it would be a good team with Sanchez(17M) and Defour(12M) taking over Giggs and Scholes.

@It seems many journalists will not let this Qatari rumour go. Joel Glazer has just bought a 6m luxury apartment in Chicago while a few weeks ago Darcie Glazer bought a 20m luxury Palm Springs mansion. With The PIKs being paid off in full in November and a substantial amount of shares bought there is certainly something sinister going on. But what?

Where is all of this money coming from? Ed how have the Glazers raised 300m when they were potless?
