Ed what you think of the situation of charlie adam and tarabt going to manchester untied? {ed's note - the only thing I know regarding Adam was that Phelan said he lacked fitness and that United would get him fit, when they spoke after the match. But that could be meaningless banter. As for Taarabt I have heard nothing other than his comments, my take, as I mentioned above, is that Warnock wanted to raise his game by telling him United were watching him.}

Hey Ed. I am being told there this is a chance Bale will sign for City tomorrow - he was apparently in Manchester today. Just what I'm being told, so not 100% certain.

Also, is Fergie likely to sign anyone tomorrow, mainly Chamberlain?

Rudderpost {ed's note - I heard Rodwell and Chamberlain are the only players you have spoken to clubs about. I don't know what happened with Taarabt, my guess is Warnock trying to get him to play better by telling him United are watching him personally. But Rodwell and Chamberlain are definitely two you have approached the clubs for, no idea of any more than an approach, I don't think an official bid has been placed for either as of yet. Maybe Ngiak was right about the money being set aside.}

@Never heard such tripe, whether a club is being sold or not there would always be money available either from the current owners or from the new owners. There is funds available for the summer so we will have to wait until then, Scholes & Giggs are being offered contracts because they are good enough to play on for another year. Is Neville being offered a new deal? Exactly, he is not being offered a new contract because he's not good enough. Scholes & Giggs have proved this season that they are good enough for another year so they are getting new contracts, lets not forget how important they are for blooding new players too. Their experience is second to none.

I do not know why people are so shocked that we have not brought anyone other than Lindegaard & Mats Moller in in this window. We very rarely do more business than that, we are going well in all comps so why tamper with things now? Listen to our manager, when we need to strengthen, we will!

We are so much interested in these players as claimed by the reliant sources at goal, caoughtoffside, mirr*r, s*n, NOTW and we BELIEVE yet we should believe we can win anything this year or that any of our acedemy players are good enough.

But i agree, henderson and rodwell aren't what we need, never really got the hang of what makes them so special.

The Red Devils have given Atletico Madrid a guarantee they will make a bid for 20-year-old keeper David de Gea if the club decides to sell him this summer. this is in todays people. would be a great aquisition imo.
