Is it true that West Ham have agreed terms with Nathaniel Clyne, I was hoping he was coming to us.
sparky {Ed002's Note - No but they are looking to do so - offering first team football is their selling point.}
Believable8
Unbelievable4
He would get a decent amount of games at United even if Rafael was fit for the entire season, but truth is Rafael will not be fit for the entire season so Clyne will get a lot of games IMO.

Thanks Ed, do you know if we remain interested ?

Right back is covered with rafael, smalling , jones and Valencia of we're short on numbers , would rather a youth player brought through than clyne bought
Dustbin
Agree0

Would be a real shame as we need natural competition for Rafael and on a free transfer Clyne's ideal as RB is not a position we can afford to spend much on. Hope we can still get him, like Syd said he would get plenty of games

It is for the next two months as we will be playing preseason games in China, South Africa and in Sweden against Barcelona.

Its ok for pre season and youth games but you will never hear ANYONE on MUTV say anything against United, or disagree with SAF or the United top brass. And if you phone in with negative comments you will not be allowed to answer back..You'll be cut off!! Waste of £6 a month IMO
Agree0
Disagree0
Its ok, but I use www.liveonlinefooty.com £27 per year. If you have more than a 3meg download you can watch in HD. Plus most of the PREM games + La Liga + Serie A + F1 GP
By plugging an HDMI cable into a PC or Laptop you can watch via your Flat Screen TV
Agree0
Disagree0
Agree with above, nothing negative allowed on MUTV the call in shows are disgraceful at times
Agree0
Disagree0
No name, you are talking utter nonsense. The club, manager, players and Glazers are criticised in every single 'call in' show and are not cut off. Emails are read out by the MUTV staff criticising something United on every show. Like Paddy, Lou, Stewart, Mandy etc all say it's people's opinion and they are entitled to their opinion.

Apparently we are looking at 3 more players not 2 as Fergie has also decided to let Anderson go,with Carrick also heading towards his twilight zone and Fletcher yet to fully recover and pulling out of Modric's deal due to unscrupulous Levy demands.....So SAF has set his sights on Jao Moutinho of Porto also wanted by Spurs, which my source also says this will prompt Levy to dance according to our tune and release Modric to us or risk losing Moutinho to us....,then SAF is looking at Baines and Izzaguire and a deal for one of these two is close though many think its Baines,Izzaguire maybe the one to come in due to price unless Everton ower their asking price.....,Lastly SAF is looking at between Fellaine and M'Villa to complete a compact midfield.......,Macheda has been handed a green leaf thus to prove his worth this season.......,and if Nani doesnt stay we may see the signing of either James Rodriguez or Moussa Dembele..........

Daniel Levy's reputation suggests he only dances to His tune lol.
I see Modric to Real as Levy does not want to seel to a Prem rival and Modric would prefer to go there.
As for Moutinho I think he may prefer a move to the bright lights of London if AVB get the Spurs job.
So....we'd lose out on both midfield targets :(
But ...Moutinho must see us as a better option for winning silverware surely so lets see what happens.

Just for this weekend forget the Glazers or City winning the league and Chelsea the European cup. I was at Heaton Park last night, i will be there tonight and tomorrow night. It was glorious and the reason Manchester is the greatest City in the world. We really have given you the Industrial revolution, the Computer , United and the greatest music in the world. Does anyone know what the first game of pre-season is? I want to get MUTV to watch the friendlies. I know we have the tour coming up but was wondering if anyone knows if theres's anything beforehand?
Also tomorrow the window opens and we officially welcome Kagawa and Powell as United players. Let's back them both and hope we start to see more action from United soon.
Anyway, tomorrow is the final of Euro 2012. In everyone's opinion who has been the worst commentator or co-commentator?
I'm going for either Martin Keown or the whole ITV team.

Andy "I'm Irish, honest" Townsend was pretty awful.
His bias towards England in commentary was laughable...for an Irishman, apparently.

Mark Bright for me absolutley useless! Townsend is awful as well. i think since Andy Gray was sacked we are sadly lacking a single good co-commentator on any of the channels. Gary Neville is great in the studio but not as good on the mic. Davie Provan's about the only other one i can handle listening to.

I don't understand why we are even interested in Baines? Is Baines going to replace Evra until Raphael is mature enough to become a starter? I don't think he would be best option.
Believable12
Unbelievable8
I agree.
I think you mean Fabio, Rafael is RB.
We should just keep Fabio and let him have a few more games.
Baines is a step backwards in quality without a doubt.
And hillariously over priced.
Bob

Baines will probably push out Evra and give time for Tyler Blackett to gain experience imo
Pardoe

The turtle? Or the right back?
Neither of them are going to be playing left back i'm afraid. If we sign Baines it is because he is younger than Evra and can defender better whilst also attacking and putting in one hell of a set piece. Would be a good signing.
P.s. I think you meant Fabio.

I would rather stick with Evra that spend any money on Baines. He is neither young and promising nor top quality currently.

Baines is top quality! He made the prem 11 that's proof enough and he's hitting his prime. We are a big enough club to buy players in their prime when necessary!

Are you lot deluded baines isnt good enough he is already better than evra i pray baines stays with everton he has been the best left back in prem for 2 season now

Don't think Neymar is interested in premier league yet.
Thiago Silva looks like he could be going to PSG should the right bid be made.
Ozil is a possibility especially if it's true about Modric going to Madrid. Although i don't think United would be interested in Ozil now we've got Kagawa!

Apparently Chelsea are now prepared to enter the bidding for Modric, a bid in the region of £36m is likely which it is believed will secure his services. Levy is likely to sell to the highest bidder, can we compete with that ?
Believable3
Unbelievable12
I think an initial offer of £22m tells us SAF and Gill's valuation of the player. We won't go over £30m for Modric.
I think he's Real bound. If not, Chelski. I dont think we are in the running for him anymore to be honest and suspect SAF is just looking at other targets now.

Eds, just wondering if we had followed up our interest in Javi Martinez (I.e. bid/ negotiations with Bilbao)? Have you heard anything new recently? Thanks,
#ags {Ed002's Note - Manchester City are probably looking to replace Nigel De Jong in the summer and Javi Garcia and Javi Martinez were the two players they are looking at. I was told a while back that Inter Milan may make a bid for Javi if they decide not to take Juraj Kucka from co-owners Genoa. I am not convinced that Bilboa will want to sell the player any time soon, and if they do they will want 40M euro with Barcelona and Real Madrid being possible destinations. Garcia has signed a new deal at Benfica so I imagine Martinez will become a serious target for Manchester City who may also face interest from Manchester United.}
