Lloris is your gk target, I think fergie might be a bit unsure about Amos after midweek . I think he was gonna try and use the keepers he had but now will defo buy either jan or end of season. and Lloris is the main target.

I noticed that you chose to ignore the 100% accurate information i gave you about Mr Rooney and Ravel Morrison last night. I am sure you have your reasons MR Editor. RAINFISHTROMBONE {ed's note - I am sorry Rainfish, I don't know what you are referring to, must have been one of the other editors that dealt with it.}

Has anyone else noticed the berba / chico partnership is looking very good this partnership could possibly destroy defences berbas skill and passing and he usually drops to midfield and chico who plays on the shoulders of the last defender and is officially the fastest world cup player he has great control and headering he could really destroy slow center backs (terry, pretty much all the spurs 1s etc) we play spurs today and they don't have quick center backs we could win this 1 3-0 possibly wat u think ed {ed's note - I think it is looking a good fit, better than the Rooney/Berbatov one looked.}

@A different poster here Ed, when United play Arsenal we usually pack our midfield with quick players to break down their passing and catch them on the break, so we usually play a 4-5-1 with Park on the left and Rooney up top on his own although when we break we have Nani, Rooney & Park all attacking.

My question to you is; Do you believe this year against Arsenal we will play a 4-5-1 with Hernandez up top on his own and Rooney on the left? Obviously this is a game that Berbatov cannot play in, certainly from the start. Could the line-up look like this against Arsenal?

_ _ _ _Van Der Sar
Rafa_ _Ferd_ _Vidic_ _Evra
_ _ _ _ _Carrick
_ _ Fletcher_ _Scholes
Nani_ _ Hernandez_ _ Roon

What do you think Ed?

{Editor's Note: I can't see them playing three up front. I expect Hernandez to drop to the bench and PArk (or Gibson) to come in.}

If various rumours are true and as names that seem to come up a lot can we expect over next two transfer windows a number of below?

DM Rodwell
CM Henderson
CM Defour
AM Honda
RW Sanchez
LW Bale
GK De Gea
CF Hulk

theoretically with transfers out / retirements etc all could join in tems of squad size being maintained but would put cost at 160 mill conservatively! !

MATE YOU DO KNOW THAT WE WILL NOT REPLACE EVERY MAN THAT IS LEAVING? WE NEED TO TRIM OUR SQUAD ANYWAY SO EXPECT WELBECK, CLEVERLEY, POGBA & MORRISON TO COME INTO THE FOLD, DIOUF MAYBE SOLD? UNITED WILL BUY ONE KEEPER AS KUSZCZAK WILL BE CONVINCED TO STAY AND FIGHT IT OUT WITH THE NEW BOY.

SCHOLES & HARGREAVES WILL BE REPLACED WITH ONE PLAYER, A PLAYER WHICH CAN PLAY DEFENSIVELY AND CAN OPEN UP DEFENSES, DEFOUR OR MARTINEZ WOULD BE MY BET. I EXPECT ANOTHER WINGER TO BE BROUGHT IN BUT SOME WHO CAN ALSO PLAY IN THE CENTRE, SANCHEZ WOULD BE MY BET. CARRICK MAYBE USED AS A MAKEWEIGHT TO BRING HENDERSON TO THE CLUB.

WELBECK, HENDERSON, SMALLING, CLEVERLEY & ROONEY WILL ALL FLY THE FLAG FOR ENGLAND.

"The protests will not fall on deaf ears. It only needs the direction of the finances of the club to appear to be heading in the wrong direction to put the leaches under immense pressure. If you understood the financial markets you would know that.
Trust the people in the right places. Are you having a laugh? Gill is the person who declared that debt was the wrong direction yet now says it is all ok. How can you trust someone who does that?
You say people are naive , are you not being naive just accepting meekly our fate. A fate which means tens of millions of pounds which should go on players goes up in smoke.
One of you asked what Gill should do. Well quite simple really, have conviction , stand by his principles. He thought debt was wrong before the leaches took over so now has literally sold his soul to them. He should have resigned and said what was happening was wrong and he couldnt condone it. Instead he has decided to keep his tasty salary and forego his principles.
There will be someone out there with £1.2Bn , the protests will likely bring the day foward when the leaches will be forced to sell. The leaches sit there and make no capital repayment of the debt and in the case of the PIK's allow them to increase exponentially. You could easily argue their plan to repay the debt has only one real action point. That is to sell the club at the optimum point. If they see the turning point happening a bit earlier then the protests are worth the effort of every single fan. To be cynical the Rooney situation gave them more time, make an empty promise and we are all on here looking at expensive players, moving our expectation from last summer to next.
Dont you protest , just let our club decline, after all I am sure there were some people in the last world war who believed Lord Haw Haw, you keep listening to the latest Lord Haw Haw Mr Gill and watch money bleeding out of our club. Alternatively protest, stand with fans like Rainfish who base their opinion on many years love for the club and see the leaches leave sooner
Red Man"

Redman please answer this:-

1. You have posted just a few days ago that being a fan through the 70s and 80s you value being at the top a lot and how easily we can go down. Now if the fans go protesting, it is not going to force the glazers out immediately, but it will have a negative impact on MUFC's accounts immediately and we will end up like LFC in the relegation zone with all our main players leaving. Do you want that?

2. Is there anybody out there currently who is serious on buying united and has the cash "from his own pocket" to do so? I am quite sure that there is not one that a single protestor knows of. So why protest when you don't have the money to buy the club? Just for the sake of hate towards the glazers?

3. You said gill should stand by his principles. What should come first, principles or making sure united's debt which he cannot do anything about on his own is managed as properly as possible? I think the latter option is much better.

4. You said when being under pressure the glazers will be forced to sell which is perfectly alright. Even H&G were under pressure to sell and sell they did, but where did it leave LFC? In the relegation zone. Players like mascherano and alonso left. Do we want that at united? That is not a cost worth paying for forcing the glazers out and people have been saying we will go back a few years, but i think you are sensible enough to know it does not work that way. It is going to be at least 10 years for me till LFC is anywhere near the top
4 and even that is not a certainty given the amounts of investment at tottenham and man city. I don't want that happening with united. We will lose all our sponsors and even if the glazers sell we will be in a huge mess. I would rather see the glazers sell in 2016 a year before the bonds expire and leave united with operational profits of 100mil rather than we forcing them out leaving us with all our good players gone and the team nowhere near competitive.

5. Also 1.5 bn pound takeovers do not happen in a day redman, i am sure you are aware of that. It takes a good 6 months or more for that. Just look at how much time it took to find a buyer for LFC even at that price. We will not be sold in a day if we protest and glazers are "hit" financially(which i just don't see any potential in happening), it will still take a good 6 months, but by that time, there will be complete media circus, look what the media did with the rooney saga, and though SAF handled it well (my opinion) it will be very hard to do it when there is such chaos on a large scale.

6. I am sorry to say this but fan protests have a lot more potential to damage the club financially and in the long term cplayer quality wise than the glazers ever can. I feel fan protests should be done like they were done with green and gold. Voicing concern and disapproval without damaging the club. Any protests which damage club finances are no good whatsoever. I am with SAF on this one. Fans have the right to protest and express disapproval but that should not come in the way of team support, morale, financial health.

We call them blood suckers which they truly are, but what i don't understand is why fans want to become blood suckers themselves to force them out.

Hernandez does look the part i admit but to suggest smalling as a future england center back is jumping the gun a bit, pepe i don't know enough about except that mendes did ok on that deal , 24 mill outlay is what we should have invested in sanchez or lorrente , but maybe they are maybe not [value in the market ] fella. dublin red.

Do you seriously think Liverpool would have rolled over if 4th spot was up for grabs? Me thinks not. Any good points there Ed? {ed's note - yes, but I still think Chelsea were clearly the best team in the league last season and if they hadn't won it they would only have themselves to blame. It is the same this season too, they are head and shoulders above the rest. I don't think Chelsea will miss Terry in the dressing room at all, if anything I feel the opposite, and Lampard is not exactly a big presence.}

@Ed i am sorry but i cannot take you seriously if you think Chelsea would be the same team they are now without Terry & Lampard at the club, take away Drogba, Anelka & Malouda and who are they left with?

Come on Ed if you think Chelsea will surpass the voids left by all of these players then you are either a Chelsea fan in denial or you are not very knowledgeable about the game. How can you say Chelsea have no problems ahead replacing 60% of their first team who just happen to be their best players bar Essien.

United with crash without Scholes & Giggs but Chelsea will do fine without 60% of their best XI, come on Ed give me a break.
