Fergie is considering moves for Soriano,goetze,subotic,barkley and sneidjer(altho i am fed up by this,a player agent has confirmed),,,another thing except for barkley all these guys are cup tied,,Ed do u think we can bring them in,in January? {Ed007's Note - No.}

We have jones, evans, smalling, rio, vidic so why subotic?
It is not both goetze and sneijder ,one of them and it will be goetze because of salary and age
so soriano and goetze may come if it happens we challange barca no doubt about that

Plus also if villareal and dortmund crash out first round we can nip in!

I honestly see gotze going to Real, simply because ozil and khedira are there, not to mention his former teammate nuri sahin!
Tbh i could settle for xherdan shaqiri instead, this guy looks great and would be half the price of gotze

The thing about real madrid is:
kaka
ozil
khedira
sahin
alonso
granero
diarra
altintop
they are all looking for central roles in the midfield.
please explain to me why you think goetze would want to go to madrid, with full knowledge of the potential lack of game time. just cos ozil, sahin and khedira are there? dont think so.

Well diarra is clearly going to leave soon, xabi alonso is nearing the twilight of his career, khedira is a defensive mid will ozil can be played anywhere, and honestly who isn't tempted by an offer from madrid? these young players don't think about the playing time they'll get they think about trying to establish themselves in one of the biggest teams in the world and becoming the worlds best.. just the fact that he has international teammates there and a former teammate he'd settle much more easy.. it's just logic really all the germans care about is real madrid tis sad

Cos Kaka and Diarra will be definitely gone maybe Granero as well. Altintop is happy to rotate. Agreed with the other chap.
Also why not target Kagawa?

Hey Ed,
Gotze just signed a 10yr deal with Nike - would this likely increase his odds of moving to a club that is also sponsored by Nike?

Interesting comment TomBomb...I heard similar rumblings during the Sneijder saga, and when I read about Gotze's contract, your same thought came to mind! Let's hope we're right mate!

What are the other Nike clubs?
Didn't make no diff with sneider
We don't spend unless players said will only come to us and club have to sell for nice price for us we don't get into auction so gotz will go somewhere else unless he is a utd fan

Great, silly season has started already and it's not even October yet. Did you know that when Goetze got sent off at the start of the season he was actually dropping a subtle hint, red card, United play in red, it's all there if you look. I mean come on the majority of Nike's poster players don't even play for clubs with Nike kits. Stop the silly Goetze nonsense at least til December.

Why do people obsess with linking boot deals with kit sponsors?
Could it be they have offered him more cash than the other top manufacturers?

These type of rumours do my nut in. This must mean nani and ash young are leaving as they were adidas and that cesc, falcao and kun aguero must be joining a team that wears puma as they have just singed deals to wear puma. Oh please give it a rest

Not worth betting your mortgage on....
if he's coming then it'll have very little to do with having nike on side in the first place....

At the heart of this matter, were the rumours of Ronaldo's return, this past summer. Do you not think Nike would love to advertise their biggest asset as the face of one of the most influential clubs in the world? Of course they would! Of course United would jump at the chance to get him back, and perhaps Madrid would sell at the right cost, or for the right combo of cash and players...the question is, how badly does he want to win something with them before leaving? Corporations have more pull than they are often credited with...hopefully they can help turn these rumblings into action...keep an eye on this!
