Will United bid for Southampton LB Luke Shaw? Or is another Leighton Baines saga on the way in January? {Ed002's Note - Chelsea has been trying for two years to persuade Southampton to sell Shaw to them, with interest also being shown by Spurs. Manchester United would not likely want to pay the sort of fee that will be asked and I suspect will not look for a deal.}

Ed - do we have any interest in either of the Bender brothers? I'd love either as a long term replacement for Carrick, the added mobility and tenacity could bring a lot to the team. {Ed002's Note - Lars Bender was a player looked at a while back. I don't see a move to MUFC in January as viable.}

Thank you. I forgot to ask in the previous post about a couple of other things;
1) Have we or any other teams show interest in Koke of Atletico Madrid?
2) There have been recent reports linking us with Mangala, with him now being our primary CB target and a move being made possibly as early as January. Any truth in these? {Ed002's Note - (1) No and AM have no plans to sell. (2) Eliaquim Mangala has been watched by Manchester United, Spurs, Milan and PSG but an unreasonable €50M termination clause has put off any chance of transfer. Although both Monaco and Chelsea have approached Porto about a deal, and continue to be interested, it would need a negotiated price to stand any chance of completion.}
