goetze is a real prospect, if he is available would man united be intrested or would they stay away because of the fee asked for
just to say veratti all though wouldn't happen would be awesome {Ed002's Note - Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona were previously knocked back by his club although Goetze has identified his favourite teams as Barcelona and Arsenal. There has also been interest also from Real Madrid, Juventus and AC Milan - who I suspected were shifting their interest in previous interest in the likes of Ganso or Fernando to Goetze. I would expect Manchester United will look to the player again at some point but I rather doubt he will move this summer.}

We're linked with everyone, my question is "where's the money to come from" - generated from sales? We've a pocket of assets, and an assortment of average Joes (some too average) on big wages, how'd we shift dead wood?
There's plenty could/should leave. If you consider our stature within world football, how many top, top teams would accommodate some of 'em in red shirts?
Not trying to offend anyone, just think we've become stale ('specially down both flanks)!

Hi all,
Eds, what is the deal with Marco Verratti? I've heard on here that we've supposedly had some level of interest in him but is it true?
Tonight he came on against Barca and I thought he looked fantastic in that playmaking role, very nimble and smart! Only 20 years old, no doubt he's being looked at by top clubs around the world.

Ozwald {Ed002's Note - Marco Verratti's move to PSG in the summer was unexpected as all indications were for a move to Juventus. If he were available in the summer there would be plenty of clubs interested, not least his most likely destination Juventus.}

Vidal here or to Real most likely Ed? Please don't tell me City are trying to get Pogba. {Ed002's Note - Vidal moved to Juventus after spurning good offers from Bayern Munich and Barcelona. If he were to come up for sale, I would suspect both clubs would still be interested.}

So apparently his agent has come out and said that Verratti is 'too expensive' for Italian clubs. I can't imagine PSG would want to sell him as there aren't many players better at what he does for his age. The only way he'd leave is if he forced a transfer out of there. Not too optimistic about signing him although he would be tremendous.
Same age as Tunnicliffe yet look at the difference.
