Hang on- I just don't get get it. gibson, fletcher, anderson and drinkwater are all quality players, why not just give them more playing time? sneijder, nasri m'vila, sanchez and schweinsteiger are all too expensive. we've go all the midfield dynamo that we need right under our noses

Sorry but you saw what happened to us in euro final so clearly our midfield isn't up to standard for our expectations

Fletcher is a top midfielder and we clearly missed him in both CL finals against Barcelona. Anderson needs to step up and Carrick simply minces around in midfield

Carrick and gibson are mediocre prem players, carrick is garbage when he doesnt get time on the ball, we need players who are up there with the best in the positions they play, we defo need a top class center midfielder, 2 if would be better

Alexis sanchez on verge of completing 37 million euros move to barca. Meaning they will not go for fabregas. This will lead to arsene letting nasri go and hopefully to Man Utd

Why does this mean that they won't go for Cesc? You do know that the £40m transfer budget is a red herring don't ya? It's a way of getting their targets for cheaper. It never worked in this case.

I agree with syd completely, cesc was always going to leave for barcelona this summer he just wanted to do it without handing in a transfer request and as for sanchez i'm incredibly disappointed he's chosen barcelona although he spoke of his desire to play at united last year I think this will just make SAF more and more motivated to don barca next year to show sanchez he made the wrong choice.. cannot wait

Yh i agree with u there but im actually happy with not signing sanchez. For a team quoting over 35mil for a guy unproven in the premier league? if he didnt get the 12 goals last season he wouldn't have been so hyped about. 2ndly he's in the seria A. The most slowest league ever. Could he deal with the prem? 35MIL+ seems too much of a risk.

stupid rumour. man united already have enough wingers, he would cost too much and ask for too much wages, and arsenal wouldn't sell him. plus, united aren't that interested in signing him

Especially as Walcott is one of the most over-rated players in the Premiership.

If we had to take Walcott with him, I wouldn't want us to sign Nasri

Walcott is not much better than Obertan. It's ok running at 28000 mph. But football is more than that.

Walcott is a failure, so much more was expected of him and he failed to produce. He will end up playing for Sunderland, Villa or Fulham a few years down the line. A truly woeful player.
