The Daily Mirror are running a story about Utd stealing Sanchez from Barcelona. Not sure how credible this is, but after reading the Ronaldo story yesterday I wouldnt believe a word they print.

Tomorrow looks like being a key day in the nasri saga, as he is due to have showdown talks with wenger. If he doesn't leave, I think United will go for m'vila. And just to clarify Mumbai boi, Cristiano Ronaldo stated on his twitter that he has never spoken to the daily mirror and every aspect of the article is made up. So we can keep believing he loved United Spud

Just been told utd will show of there 3 signings on Tuesday at press conference. Other news Wesley Sneijder will join utd once Inter get replacement deal been done for a while so there will be no Modric or Nasri signing because as much Ferguson would like him Arsenal will not sell to utd but might to City my understanding is he is going to Real Madrid. Now on to Alexis Sanchez deal is stalled because Udinese are refusing to speak to other clubs however if deal with Barcelona does not happen utd will put in a final offer between £34m rising to £37m on future success as said before Sanchez would join us or Barcelona but Udinese only want to do business with Barcelona due to the relationship between both clubs.

Believable12 Unbelievable15

Surely they will show off their signings when they have finished in the transfer market, 2 more signings will be made by the end of next week and then they will do the press conference.
sneijder wont be one of them but it is 99% nasri.

Agree0 Disagree0

Arsen Whinger won't have a say in where Nasri wants to go unless ofcoarse he's willing to let the player run his contract down and leave for free

Agree0 Disagree0

I Follow the official Phil jones on Twitter and he went on holiday today , will be hooking up with the squad on the 15th

yann m'vila? chances of joining the red army? heard lots of stories and rumours etc?

dont get me wrong - would love to see it, only 20 aswell? {Ed002's Note - Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus, Genoa and perhaps Liverpool & Chelsea are interested. Will likely stay with Rennes as he has signed an extension. A decent offer may prove tempting to Rennes.}

Believable21 Unbelievable6

Hang on- I just don't get get it. gibson, fletcher, anderson and drinkwater are all quality players, why not just give them more playing time? sneijder, nasri m'vila, sanchez and schweinsteiger are all too expensive. we've go all the midfield dynamo that we need right under our noses

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry but you saw what happened to us in euro final so clearly our midfield isn't up to standard for our expectations

Pardoe

Agree0 Disagree0

Fletcher is a top midfielder and we clearly missed him in both CL finals against Barcelona. Anderson needs to step up and Carrick simply minces around in midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

Carrick and gibson are mediocre prem players, carrick is garbage when he doesnt get time on the ball, we need players who are up there with the best in the positions they play, we defo need a top class center midfielder, 2 if would be better

Agree0 Disagree0

uniteds next signing will be bastian schwinstiger for around 30 million pounds.
he will be the player to replace scholes & gibson in CM and can play on the wing.
could even offer berbatov and money which berbatov is 14 million pounds and pay 16 million pounds.

nasri will be ours by the end of july.

we will make it 20 titles next season,
win the champions league, FA cup and carling cup

COME ON THE RED DEVILS

Believable24 Unbelievable23

I will dye my hair red if we sign Schweinsteiger and Nasri, but both players play in the same position, so doubt that..

We would need a right-back as o'shea and brown look set to leave..

Agree0 Disagree0

How do we need a right back when both fable an rafael can play there. Money should be spent on a midfielder.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sweinsteiger and nasri are 2 completley different players, one is always attack minded (nasri) and sweinsteiger plays more like an holding midfielder who can also create, he was outstanding in the world cup for germany, i'd say buy them both and play them both in centre mid with young and nani on the wings and maybe play valencia at right back, that would be some team and would take some beating

Agree0 Disagree0

Valencia at RB? You crazy man

Where are all these Schweinsteiger rumours coming from? He recently signed a new 5 year contract and commited himself to Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich don't need to sell their best players... They want to sign top players to challenge for the champions league again...

Agree0 Disagree0

Schweinsteiger and nasri would be great, but our budget isn't that big what with the 40M+ that we've already spent- we could have a chance though. nasri rejected his contract and could walk out so that we could get for free, then we could afford schweinsteiger.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is no chance of signing schweinsteiger, he signed a 5 year deal last season and bayern would want way more than what we will spend.

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres more than 100 million to spend this summer, 20 million on nasri, 30 million on schweinsteiger, 50 million in total on them 2 is good business. signing contracts means nothing, ronaldo signed a new deal then went for 80 million the next year, sneijder signed a new deal last year but he keeps getting mentioned all the time.
as for valencia at right back, u obviously didnt watch all the games this year, he played there a few times, he can defend aswell as attack. he'd be a cracking wing back, bit like dani alves.

Alexis sanchez on verge of completing 37 million euros move to barca. Meaning they will not go for fabregas. This will lead to arsene letting nasri go and hopefully to Man Utd

TRUMORS

Believable22 Unbelievable37

Why does this mean that they won't go for Cesc? You do know that the £40m transfer budget is a red herring don't ya? It's a way of getting their targets for cheaper. It never worked in this case.

Cesc will sign for Barcelona next week and Nasri will still leave.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with syd completely, cesc was always going to leave for barcelona this summer he just wanted to do it without handing in a transfer request and as for sanchez i'm incredibly disappointed he's chosen barcelona although he spoke of his desire to play at united last year I think this will just make SAF more and more motivated to don barca next year to show sanchez he made the wrong choice.. cannot wait

Agree0 Disagree0

Yh i agree with u there but im actually happy with not signing sanchez. For a team quoting over 35mil for a guy unproven in the premier league? if he didnt get the 12 goals last season he wouldn't have been so hyped about. 2ndly he's in the seria A. The most slowest league ever. Could he deal with the prem? 35MIL+ seems too much of a risk.
TRUMORS

I cant see them doin barca anytime soon wit de singings wev made so far. while barca bring in world class talent ie sanchez and fab we bring in young i do tink fergie will get a world class cm tho

1)"When you hear a club like Manchester United is interested in you it is an honour. I am very aware of the Premier League, and in recent years it has been the stand-out league in the world, " said Silva to the Daily Express.

"If it came calling, especially if it was a club like Manchester United, it would be very hard to resist. I am happy at Valencia, but every player has his price and if they get an offer they think is good business anything is possible."

this was what silva was reported to be said, during his transfer saga..SADLY HE ENDED UP AT MANCHESTER CITY

2)Manchester United are reportedly keen to add the flamboyant Uruguayan to their ranks. The player himself told the Daily Star Sunday, Manchester United and Barcelona are the elite clubs in Europe .

If they call, you listen. I would only leave Ajax for a team in that category.

this was reported to be said by luis suarez during his transfer saga..HE ENDED UP AT LIVERPOOL

3)it was reported with a video as proof in goal.com, that Neymar wants to move to chelsea.he is looking to end up at MADRID

and then i learned, never read something about a possible transfer from player interviews.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

If barca has the best youth players coming through their ranks why they go for sanchez?
(fabregas is an exception u know why)
why they go for big money david villa?
mascherano, ibrahmovic,
they try 35m rossi
dani alves

few years ago we had a 'fantastic 4' combination

rooney, ronaldo, tevez, scholes

we won the cl,

similarly they have xavi, iniesta, messi and doing the cl magic

United are preparing to bid 30 million for Schweinsteiger from Bayern

Believable35 Unbelievable25

Good player but the fee seems a little overpriced for him IMO.... HERBIE

Agree0 Disagree0

30 million I agree is a bit on the steep side but IMO a player built to play in the premiership and UNITED

Juventus and Valencia are battling it out for Dimitar Berbatov. The fee is believed to be around £14m.

Mourinho will be the new man city manager next season, 100%, It will give him such an ego boost knowing he was been touted as the next united boss when fergie leaves, but he will take over city and win trophies... and bring ronaldo aswell.

Believable9 Unbelievable50

Why would Ronny want to move from his golden palace into a council house? the same could be said of Jose, You bitters really are the best. You remind me of that sketch from Harry Enfield a few years ago when Wayne and Waynetta won the Lottery and sat on golden toilets. Chavs with money fargin hilarious

Agree0 Disagree0

Mourinho will stay at Real Madrid. He doesn't want the City job. He wants to take over from SAF when he retires at United. SAF has recently said he has no intentions of retiring in the near future.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Jul 2011 13:33:15
Ronaldo said that if Mourinho had left Madrid then he himself would have gone to Man City(385k per week),

And we United fans thought that he loved us and the club, what an a**hole

Ronny has tweeted that he has not done an interview with the mirror and all content published is lies.Never let the truth get in the way of a good story

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't believe anything you read nevermind everything. Ronaldo also reportedly laughed off City overtures a few weeks ago. Apparently the Sheikh showed him a Bentley stuffed with cash. Ronaldo supposedly joked that perhaps if there was a woman laying on the cash he might have thought about it, before saying he will never ever play for City

Agree0 Disagree0

Ronaldo on his official Twitter has said this is all lies. Obv Sunday Mirror publishing bull crap to sell papers...

MU and Nike are opening talks of a £400 million kit deal. Nike pay United £23.5m per year, and their 10-year deal expires in 2015.

Believable43 Unbelievable5

40 million per year over 10 years more are less pays the debt per year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nike need 2 make better jerseys for MU. Don't you think so?

Agree0 Disagree0

Actually the current Nike deal is a 14 year deal and we are getting £25.4m, not £23.5m.

Manchester United has been my dream all my life and they would be my first choice.

Alexis Sanchez exact words on Chilean TV in the summer of 2010.

GREED.

Believable41 Unbelievable16

I wouldn't say it's greed because we can match Barcelona's wages with ease. I think he is talent struck by Messi, Xavi, Iniesta etc. Plus Spain is much warmer than England and his style of play would suit La Liga better than the PL.

ed any news on interest of Hazard? {Ed007's Note - I have been told that Arsenal are trying to instigate a deal with Lille regarding him}

Believable19 Unbelievable13

03 Jul 2011 12:09:04
The deal for Nasri is already agreed. Arsenal is just given time to get his replacement. He?Ç ll definitely be a United player.

Believable39 Unbelievable23

Blimey, this is indeed top insider information. Nasri's deal is already agreed? Is he booked in for a medical yet? Also, do you know if we are signing Modric, Sneidjer or Sanchez? Lastly, what's it like living in a padded cell?

Agree0 Disagree0

If this is true its great news for the club and for Nasri as well. He insisted that he wasnt out for the money, but the trophies so United is the best option for him

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't think there has been agreement yet. Once Nasri says it is over I can see Man. Utd. and Nasri agreeing their terms. As of now, I can't believe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do not pay attention to Liverpool fans who can't stand their dead website.

Agree0 Disagree0

He as agreed, thats why he has come out today and said its trophys that count not the money, if he was to join city or chelsea after sayin that then he would be an hypocrit, he knows united is the best team to win trophys and thats why he as joined us, along with being close friends with patrice evra and david bellion.

The Mail On Sunday are saying that Fergie is still in for Wesley and Luca. The article is a bit misleading, which makes me doubt it's truth (the title is "SAF reveals he is still chasing...", whereas you get into the article and it says nowhere that he has said this, just that they're sure he has).

It also says that we were prepared to break the club transfer record to bring Alexis Sanchez to Utd, but when SAF found out he'd prefer Barca he pulled out of the race.

Do you guys believe these rumours? Or do you simply think that it's the same rumour that's been circulating for weeks but at a time where little has been mentioned about all three players?

Believable19 Unbelievable20

There were not direct quotes attributed to SAF so it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt. Nasri is a much better fit for Utd than Sneijder who would want to occupy the areas where Rooney is at his best.We need a creative player who can carry the ball forward from central midfield. Modric and Nasri would both fulfill this role.

Agree0 Disagree0

No direct quotes from SAF and the fact it states he thinks nasri will sign for City next week is bizarre

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah you two are probably right. Difficult to tell with some of the papers. I disreguard most of what the sun and the daily mirror say almost immediately, but the Mail sometimes gets it right.

Agree0 Disagree0

This article was written by Bob Cass who is considered to be the closest journo to Sir Alex. Its highly likely through the two's relationship that there have been discussions with Sir Alex and there could therefore be a lot of truth to Bobs report

Agree0 Disagree0

This article was written by Bob Cass who is considered to be the closest journo to Sir Alex. Its highly likely through the two's relationship that there have been discussions with Sir Alex and there could therefore be a lot of truth to Bobs report . His use of language, 'I understand....', as opposed to 'it is understood' shows that he is not afraid to personally back up his claims

"I have heard Theo Walcott wants to come with Nasri to Man Utd.."
stupid rumour. man united already have enough wingers, he would cost too much and ask for too much wages, and arsenal wouldn't sell him. plus, united aren't that interested in signing him

Believable3 Unbelievable46

Especially as Walcott is one of the most over-rated players in the Premiership.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we had to take Walcott with him, I wouldn't want us to sign Nasri

DarkLard08

Agree0 Disagree0

We have Nani and Valencia already why walcott?? let him join stoke city if he want to move

Agree0 Disagree0

Walcott is not much better than Obertan. It's ok running at 28000 mph. But football is more than that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Walcott is a failure, so much more was expected of him and he failed to produce. He will end up playing for Sunderland, Villa or Fulham a few years down the line. A truly woeful player.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ok, ok, but i posted this rumour, and it wasn't me who suggested that he came to united. if you want to complain about how COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY RUBBISH walcott is, look for the person who suggested it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Walcot is class and will be a future england captain, you watch

Read The Mail (Internet version) and use tab to go to Man Utd. Fergie thinks the next big signing next week will be Nasri to Man City.

Believable15 Unbelievable41

The Mail is a semi-rag, and anti United, so don't believe it

Agree0 Disagree0

And the Mirror and NOTW have us in pole position. The story in the Mail still has us chasing Sneijder - which most journos would say we haven't done for a year now.

DarkLard08

Agree0 Disagree0

Fergie never discusses his transfer targets etc... It's probably just to sell papers..

Nathana Se7en

Agree0 Disagree0

That's the same Alex Ferguson who said he would never buy Andy Cole. He must be laughing his head off at all these rumours. He knows who he wants to buy and it is highly likely that the deal will already have been done....months ago.
