M'vila signed a contract extension until 2015, so would be very surprised if anyone could afford to buy.

You were doing well until you said about M'Vila. He has recently signed a new deal at his club to keep him there for another 4 years. He also made it clear he does not wish to move to the Premier League just yet when LFC chirrped up and said they were interested in him.

Ha I actually think you're wrong on every prediction mate, except maybe the sanchez one.

i have a friend who claims to have a source within united. and he says that chris smalling will be rewarded with number6 shirt after his fantastic debut season. tom cleverley will take smallings number12 shirt with phil jones taking the number4 shirt

If this is true then we can expect Jones to be used to sit in front of the defense but behind the midfield like Hargreaves did. Anyone else think that next season United will use the 4-1-2-1-2 formation?

I think a 4 2 3 1 will be our standard formation with a 4 3 3 a more likely second option with jones holding next to 2 good ball playing midfielders. with a hernandez thhrough the middle and interchangable inside forwards/wingers.

With the out and out wingers we have i feel a 4 1 2 1 2 wouldn't particularly work to our strengths and might leave us slightly exposed.

The players we, ve brought in give us more dynamism and vesitilaty allowing for tactical changes during games.

But then again i'm not fergie, and he has guided us to 19 (and hopefully 20 next season) titles.

Thank his someone knows what pistons sanchez plays.... he is a long term target and has megastar talent make no mistake he is the real deal. SAF will spend big to get him as his potential impact is worth big money. Ex pect 40m plus fee that we WILL pay. This deal could shape our future team and chances of success, if we dont we will end up with inferior squad to city and chelsea. Biggest window for us in yrs.

He will be Barcelona player as soon as Copa America finishes, or when Chile get knocked out.

It's understood that our highest bid for Sanchez was £27m or £28m and that we will not budge. There is absolutely no chance we would pay £40m for him.

I agree we should bid big to make sure we get him. Barca wouldnt want him if he was that average would they. We need another player that other teams should fear n worry about . Were too predictable at the min with players we have. We need that little bit of magic, sparkle, class that can turn the game on its head. For me nani on a good day, wazza , hernandez, and giggs only people we have to do this. Giggs is now being more controlled down to his age and nani dont always deliver. Know we ll neva get the same player but a replacement for scholes and ronaldo required . We havent come close to replacin ronaldo although hernandez great player, so we certainly cant let scholes retire and not replace him either. Sanchez and mata be two id like to see. Buts that not to say id be dissapointed with nasri or others. TORQS {Ed002's Note - I don't see Sanchez at Manchester United I am afraid.}

It's not about offering more money to get the player, Sanchez himself wants to go to Barcelona so he will either end up at Barcelona or stay at Udinese.

Udinese cannot force him to join City, Chelsea or United if the player wants the Barcelona move. The player has the power, all Udinese can realistically do is keep him in Udine. They cannot force him to join Chelsea, United or City just because they have bid more than Barcelona.

Is it that unlikely we wont get sanchez EDS? Lets just hope SAF suprises us. Hope you can see where im coming from where although we have made great additions so far , just want a already developed player that can come in and make an immediate impact instead of nuturing him for two or three years like ronaldo. We then make the player amazing and then pack him off to madrid. {Ed007's Note - I would love Utd to sign Sanchez but I doubt it with the finances involved}

Although i think he does want barca move if that doesnt go through do you not think the player would fancy the move to OT? Arent we meant to be the team he supported etc. I agree you cant force the player to go anywhere he dont want to but would he really dislike the idea of joining us boys. . . or stay at udinese.? I can only live in hope that we get him(unlikely as it is). How nice would it be to see him in our team next season.

Think we should be more hopeful that his injury isn't too serious ( doesn't seem so ) he is one of our most consistent players and was missed last season when he got injured.

We got enough wingers... Nani, Valencia, Young, Park, Giggs. Hazard is quality but we don't need him. What we need is Samir Nasri, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Luka Modric or Wesley Sneijder... Someone like that

city are so confident of sigining nasri that they have booked a private plane at london city airport to bring him to manchester for the whole of this week if this is true man city have more money than sense by the sounds of it

They wouldn't have to book much my friend, their owners have a private jet each. Private jets are a matter of hundreds of thousands to book, not millions. Any PL club could arrange for a player to be picked up by private jet.

Oops I misread the post, I meant book it for a week and have it on standby for the week to pick Nasri up from Vegas, I totally misread the post because I am understood that Nasri is to remain in Vegas til Wednesday after the club gave him an extra couple of days to stay on in America.

This week suddenly the rumours of Bastian Schweinsteiger have come alive, ..but i do believe he signed new 5 years contract with Bayers. Some of the posters on this site have also mentioned Berbatov + pounds for him.
I dont know how much is truth in it, though if this happens it could be massive signing of the season for united.
Also Nasri looks certain either to join Manchester United for Move away from England. I dont think he will every sign for City, coz he said he will leave Arsenal for Trophies and Money does nt matter for him. He needs Medals rather then heavy pay.
Chelsea could battle for him, but as i said he comes to united if he stays in England for moves to Italy or Spain.

All the signings will be in this week as united prepare for north america trip next week, On Monday they leave for the tour.
Also Young and Jones will be revealed tomorrow, and could start training with their united mates.

Also hope Valencia will be back soon after taking an ankle injury yesterday.
Good Luck for him on behalf of all united fans..

this is FANTASTIC NEWS.nasri and fabregas are going to talk to Wenger today about leaving the club.which means that wenger is probably going to accept at least one of them.which also means another signing for us.if he accepts Nasri, Nasri will more than likely come to us and if he accepts Fabregas he'll go to Barcelona and we'll get Sanchez.if wenger accepts them both we get Nasri + Sanchez [probably].

I doubt Nasri will he is on Holiday till Thursday

Oh you do live in an ideal world... Thats fine if you believe that Barca only have circa £40m to spend, which I think is a bit of a curve ball. They wouldn't have bid for Sanchez as they knew they would get Fabregas. I firmly believe that Barca can afford both and seeing as it looks like they are selling Bojan and perhaps other fringe players they should easily stretch themselves to ensure those two players are at Camp Nou next year. I hope that we do sign one of the two, (preferably Sanchez) but I think we may miss out on both. We'll see I guess.

You have got to love Petr Cech's arrogance when talking about David De Gea. De Gea turns 21 in a few months time, but thinks it's a gamble and questions whether he will make it at United. Cech forgets he played for Chelsea when he was just one year older than De Gea is now.

De Gea will break all of your records that VDS hasn't already broken.

Personally i think De gea will struggle, i watch a lot of spanish football and he's slighty overrated..I dont think he's better than Diego Lopez for instance..he's good shot keeper that's about it..

I disagree i have been watching him this season and he is a good keeper very similar to casilas also he was fantastic in the ueros u21s pulled off some amazing saves and he played good for athletico madrid when they won the europa league considering less than 3 seasons ago he was 3rd choice keeper to asenjo and the other keeper coupet i think but with injuries 2 the 1st and 2nd choice keeper he was given a chance and he has played well and kept the number 1 gk spot which is hard 2 do as coupet was a great keeper and so is asenjo

Rainfish, you are officially the worst United fan I'v ever come across. You think your more of a fan than anyone else because you live 5 minutes away from Old Trafford. I could say your only a United fan because of convenience. I'm from Ireland but my Dad lived in England for years when he was a kid. My Grandad was United threw and threw. The greatest gift my Dad ever gave me was United and I'll pass it on to my kids one day.
It doesn't matter where your from, your race, your religion as long as you get behind the team your alright in my book and I'm ashamed your a United fan. You sound like a bitter old man who needs to put people down in order to feel big. You never post anything constructive just negative.
For me to go to a match i have to spent hundreds of euros to see MY team each year, people from asia have to get up in the middle of the morning to catch a game live. Fans from other countries sacrifice a lot more than you do to support OUR great team. Kids from poorer countries kicking a ball against a wall dreaming one day the can walk out at Old Trafford, United is more than geography, it's hope, it's a feeling than you belong to something.
