I thought all medicals were conducted at Carrington now? I maybe wrong though. Any info on this eds?

All medicals are now down at the new medical wing at Carrington.
Agree10

How many times do people have to explain that manchester united are exclusively using carrington for all medicals now?
Agree10
Disagree3
Medicals in carrington start from August. Any medicals before August is done at bridgewater

The new medical facility isn't able to process blood work as of yet so, for the short term, blood tests need to be done at Bridgewater.

Haven't medicals got to take place at a neutral place?
Sydney!
Agree4

As far as I know, they don't have all the necessary medical equipment at Carrington to carry out a full medical, certain elements still need to be done externally.
Agree7

R V P had his medical at Bridgewater Hosp!

Nope, they'll be doing medicals next year at the training ground as it's not ready to conduct them yet.
Agree4

Was that info from mufclatest. com?
they got the rvp & varela as well as navas & fern medicals right in recent times but again I thought our meds were now at carrington.
someone with a twit account log into the site and twit them to ask that question. see what they say.
Agree1
Disagree3
If they got the varela medical right and that was at the bridgewater only a few weeks ago, surely they'll have any new signings medicals there aswell
Agree1

Apparently it is Garay
Agree2

Lol lol you lot are a roll up who cares where you do your medicals

No name, where we do our medicals is directly relevant to the OP. What a ridiculous thing to say.

AS have revealed that Thiago's father Mazinho has sold his restaurant in the heart of Barcelona, called "Campechano" as he looks to concentrate on the football career's of his two talented sons.
More fuel to fire. Don't want to tempt fate but all the signs are good. Sign him up big D!
Believable34

Big D? Dunno about that.
Agree6

HAHA!!
I prefer "DM", or just Moyes.
Other than that, pretty good sign that he's coming to Manchester United!
Agree3

As in David Moyes. Would have thought that was self explanatory
Not likely referring to Our GK am I.

He knew what you meant - he was merely suggesting that Big D may not be the best of names (yet).

Spanish newspaper Sport is reporting Barcelona are ready to make a move for Wayne Rooney and offer 25million (£21m) plus David Villa if the England international tells Manchester United that he is intent on leaving this summer.
Believable30
Unbelievable41
To me that would be a terrific deal. Put Kagawa behind Van Persie with Villa to the left of Kagawa and Valencia/Zaha on the right. sounds extremely dangerous to me

I would rather alexis sanchis not sure on spelling sorry, with 10m than a 31 villa to be honest.
Time will tell, I still think if wazza leaves it will be for Chelsea I'm afraid.

Wishful thinking.

Rooney is the second best English footballer of the last 20 odd years, (after scholes), he may have been out of sorts last season, but he was also used as a midfield utility man, and he still scored and created quite a few goals. Give him a run up front and we'll see the player we bought again.

Agree3

To say rooney is the second best english player of the last 20 yrs is a joke gazza was a better ball player shearer was a better goal scorer ince was a better tackler and i'd say wilshere was better allround the problem with rooney is he believes his own hype
Agree1
Disagree2
Of course he has. Talk about red tinted glasses. Don't get me wrong he's been up there. But shearer, lampard, Gerrard, cole, becks, have all been great. So to say he has been the best I'm not so sure. Been very good mind
Agree1
Disagree1
Wayne should and still could be the best English footballer of all time he needs to get in the gym and work hard, take a look at Ronnie and how his body changed with lifting weights and eating sleeping training right its not to late for Wayne and it looks like he will stay and if he does I prey he trains right and becomes the best Wayne Rooney he can be if he does this he will be in the top three players in world football were he belongs it would be a travesty if he does not ever reach his full potential maybe Moyes is the man to make him do it. "Rooney is the second best English footballer of the last 20 odd years"
I beg to differ.
Alan Shearer, Paul Gascoigne, Steven Gerrard & Frank Lampard were all better than Rooney.

Villa to spurs is all but done I believe {Ed007's Note - He will end up Atletico Madrid.}

A few places are reporting that Barca are set to offer E25m/£21m + David Villa for Rooney.
What would everybody think about that?

I woul snap there hand off. Pure and simple. I've always liked villa and think a move could reignite him. And probably same for Wayne.
Agree7
Disagree4
If that's true then accept it, David villa might be old but can still do a great job for any team.
Agree7
Disagree4
I would prefer £25m + Villa, but could settle for €25m, that's basically £31m for Rooney which is fair.
Brendan81
Agree7

If Rooney wants to go, let him go. I cba with his constant moaning any more. and we could do a lot worse than Villa as a replacement
chopper
Agree9
Disagree3
I don't think we need Villa.
Agree5
Disagree4
Extremely happy, David villa is still a very goodlayer and could do a job for a year or two ether up front or on the wing, would solve the striker/winger problem, unfortunately can't see it being true:/
Agree4
Disagree4
If only he were 2 years younger - he'll be 32 in December. A quality player, no question, but has he another 3 years left in him at a level more frantic than he was used to in Spain?
Agree5
Disagree3
We'd perhaps get a couple of decent years after him.
I'd take anyone of his quality who can play in a front three ie they can do the business out wide and also through the middle.
Agree1
Disagree4
Age means nothing! Giggs is still putting in motm performances at 39! If you have the quality villa has you will do well, simple.
Agree4
Disagree3
When fit, Villa is still very deadly, and can play left winger.
Not as well as a true left winger, but an improvement over Ashley Young.
Agree3
Disagree3
I think it's all nonsense, but would take Pedro or Cesc instead.
Sydney!

Brendon's how could 25 million in euros be 31 mill in pounds
Agree3
Disagree1
Think he means 25 mil for Rooney and Villa worth 6 totalling 31 million.
Agree4
Disagree1
If Wayne wants out I don't think this is a bad offer
Carrick thiago
Ronaldo kagawa villa
Rvp
Wishful thinking but you never know
Agree2

Why would we want david villa when we have a player who does not play all the time but is better than villa that's chico as we have been say for a few seasons now its the midfield that needs strengthening

Not a united related, but something interesting here.
William Hill had a bet open for Suarez transfer, and apparently there were bets from Spain big enough to push WH to close the bet market.
RumourNo. 1
Believable18

All the betting came from the city of Barcelona. There is no way Suarez is an option for Arsenal, but it may just make RM hurry up and sell Higuain so they can buy Suarez.

I smell a rat, isn't his agent Pep Guardiola's brother? If so it would make sense any irregular betting coming from Spain.
