Ok in response to what Bazza said today in relation to Wayne Rooney, I can't say my source, neither can I word for word state what was said, before he signed a new contract. But from what I know, SAF was more worried about what a damaging effect. A january move would have on UTD's title aspirations.

So, here is where the plot thickens, apparently Rooney was told to sign as repayment for faith shown by SAF in earlier scandals involving Wazza, therefore the Glazers will get more money to the tune of I'd say £55-£60 million.

I am a United through and through, grew up on stockport road in longsight, it's in my blood, and this is killing me to watch, Sadly SAF is doing his best to work with what he has. hence the Giggs and Scholes contract discussions along with Michael Owen. If we do win the title, it will be nothing short of a miracle. with some trcikier ties ahead than this. Could be a squeeky bum time.

Is that why Anderson just got offered a new contract extension? The players you mentioned may get bid for, but there is absolutely no chance ando will be sold.

@United made a move for an 18 year old Real Madrid player. A very good little player, Higuain's injury has prevented this deal.

It is in the Glazers interest to ensure as high a profit as possible to take the maximum they can in dividend.
Tell me, to maximise profit will they a) spend large amounts on players reducing profit or
b) spend as little as they can get away with to maximise profits, maximise dividends.

The pressure on them to take a higher level of dividend comes if they have a high interest loan they must pay. That is how it impacts us.

If they want to pay their loan, it is in their interest to not spend money, clear enough?

The glazers can help themselves to BIG dividends only till june 2011. After that, when the FFP comes into place, any BIG dividends gone will mean getting docked from the CL, which will be disastrous for them. Simple and clear?

Also, why set up another loan, when you have the cash in the bank to pay it off? Why would they have taken another loan if they could have paid it off right now and then secured a small loan? If they really wanted to take dividends they would have tackled a majority of the PIKs straight through the cash in the bank instead of taking another loan of the same amount.

ED that's wat i try to say which fellow fans dnt understand. .

next season 1 GK n 1 CM

+ Welbeck, Cleverley, Pogba n Morrison(provided they r included in 1st teaam squad)

we get at least 4 signings bfore next season if not 6.

pple talk abt just the 19th title. . i can see many more in years to cum within financial fair play rules we will be able to spend better for even sum of established players if we ever needed them.
