UTD have submitted a £24.5 Million pound offer for Morgen Schneiderlin after the 2 clubs executives met yesterday to discuss the price that's acceptable by both parties.

Don't believe it myself. If Soton want atleast £25 Million and I'm pretty sure Schneiderlin would jump at the chance to join us and why would we not offer the extra 500k to make it £25 Million that they are after? Doesn't make sense to me.

Numerous sources from Twitter to my Cousin who owns a pub in Manchester all saying the same thing. Their where discussions previously where the first bid was rejected and Utd met yesterday to discuss a new bid which has been lodged and WILL BE ACCEPTED @ 24.5million when LVG and Southampton want it official.

Pity Ed002 is not on this page anymore!!! Because I'm sure she would fine tune it to the exact info and detail but we all know what happens when she helps out

But why, But When who and where. And when the trolls don't get what they want they abuse her.

Seem to remember that ed002 simply couldn't take any more after a poster aggressively demanded answers, stating that it was Ed002's obligation to answer as it was their job - but showing scant regard for the fact that all the Eds generously give their own time to us, in addition to leading busy lives (I get the impression that Ed002 flies a lot). I can see why they felt utterly unappreciated.

Thus, while the other Eds (recently 004, 007 and 001 - very much appreciated, thank you!) have done a brilliant job, there is a void that haunts us - all because of the ignorance of a certain poster who we no longer hear from on this site.

I guess we just have to hope that Ed002 gives us another chance - I really hope they had a wonderful Independence Day ("shews, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires and illuminations") with their loved ones and perhaps they might allow a Jefferson inspired plea to return to the United family in the pursuit of happiness for all.

Wallace, I think it is time to name and shame the people who are ruining the site for the majority of users.

So who wants as the offending poster on this occasion. Let's not forget this is not the first time we have lost the valuable insight of ed002.

Could you not just ban repeat offenders instead of making us all suffer ed? We would greatly appreciate it if you came back to give us your info.

{Ed001's Note - we do ban them, but it is impossible to do any more than ban IPs and delete accounts, which is only short term as IPs change and people can just make another account. So the only way to really stop it is to just walk away for a bit. It is more about our own piece of mind a lot of the time, sometimes you just need a break.}

I think you're right Dwill - we need to respect the Eds wishes and wait until they're ready to return. It can't be easy having thousands of emails being pinged at you from all directions, particularly if some are unpleasant or just downright rude. We're just lucky to have such fantastic volunteers who give their time so freely to us.

Regarding the poster who was the last straw for Ed002, we're bigger than naming and shaming. I'm sure others on here remember the thread, particularly Chris, Mad Hatter and King Cantona, but they know who they are and perhaps they be humble enough to write a private apology to Ed002.

I remember that argument and I spent the last 2 hours digging through old posts to find out who said what.

Then I stumbled upon the 9th of May, looked in the mirror and seen my hair was in a FZZ, Then I could not stop looking at my face because I'd neglected to shave for a week when I said to myself I look like JMB oh wait it can't be him it must be that imposter Juanmatasbared.

Excuse the TYPOS. I was like many others and rushing before the rain came and like many of us we all have bad days and airport delays. Along with a storm comes morons that ask stupid questions and I beg your pardons. Try drive 300 miles in a car to answer your pathetic questions when like Reddevilfan you could have used the search bar.

No wonder 002 is gone till the 1st of September, The abuse she gets is horrid and only when she posts do these idiots appear. They have not been around since the other eds have helped out.

For the offenders if you wanted to know so much why not ask her out on a date. I'm suprised you don't know her D.O.B at this rate

I know Ed002 no longer comments on MU transfers (really hope you come back after the window closes) so here is an update from the city page

Never seen the boy play so can't comment on his pedigree but if this is the calibre of club chasing him then I hope we make a serious push for him. Either way if Coleman is the alternative then happy days

He's better than coleman, one of the few fullbacks who is incredible defensively (has the aerial presence of a central defender) and is very Brazilian in his adventures up field
