Daily Sport? I don’t know where to start.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed001's Note - I had no idea that still existed.}

05 Jul 2018 19:59:50
They actually do sport in the daily sport?

05 Jul 2018 20:34:14
I thought it was just pictures, mostly of nipples.

05 Jul 2018 20:52:50
We’d have to be tits to spend that on an old man.
He fits Italy. slower pace and he will get a stack of goals.

We need to look forward!

Once you've got past the headline of the day which is usually along the lines of"hamster shagged my greggs pasty" there is lots of reliable football info. honest.

Never ever did i think i'd ever live to hear the words 'daily sport' and the word 'honest' in any form of association, man alive you'll be telling me next they really did put a man on the moon, you cheeky scamp!

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - they did, he was driving a London bus, I saw the pictures in the Sport.}

06 Jul 2018 10:19:58
Is that the one where he was racing lord lucan riding shergar? i lost a tenner on that, the useless feck that he was! -got it back though on elvis winning the grand national on 'a burger done for me belly big time'-strange name for a horse, but i'm not judgememtal the therapist told me!

Must be rubbish, spending most his budget on an ageing player. works better for Jose than Viagra.

Daily sport is quite good at sports reporting. But I get it for the nappies. See ya 😆😆.

That "aging" player is still twice as good as anyone on our team. The delusion on this site is mindboggling. What is in the Manchester water that people don't want Ronaldo but think United will ever win a major club trophy relying on Jesse Lingard or Ashley Young.

I swear, this board can be infuriating at times. Ronaldo scored more goals than all of our forwards combined for goodness sake!

Ironically England could win a World Cup with Lingard and Young.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jul 2018 21:32:44
That means NOTHING to me. Drama? Sure. Quality? Not so much. The WC is terrible football played by teams with semi-pro players in some cases and with only a fw weeks of playing together for the quality squads. I'm not bashing the entertainment value, especially for casual fans, but the quality of play is awful, which is prob why Lingard and Young look ok at the WC but look like jokes in the CL and PL.

Also another good time to repeat, RONALDO is better than anyone on our team. Letting him go to Juve is a mistake we will regret. And most of you will have to answer for your completely moronic takes on the issue. MIC DROP.

Papers reporting a £53m deal for Alex Sandro has been agreed. Any ideas if this is accurate? I'm hoping so, huge upgrade on our current options and can play as a wing back should we go that way next year.

I hope so. It seems with Juve in for Ronaldo they will need to offload some players. Perhaps Sandro and Higuain? Rumours that Dybala does not get on with allegri. Would love to sign him. But this is all paper talk and until Ed002 confirms this then I won’t beliieve it.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Dybala was offered to Madrid I believe.}

05 Jul 2018 13:22:33
Yeh due in at Carrington tomorrow at half 5 for medical.

05 Jul 2018 13:45:00
Thanks for confirming that Ed001. Do you seen Dybala going there?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - yes, I do see him going there, I think it works for everyone.}

05 Jul 2018 14:38:49
I agree ed would be a good move for all parties. Think he can be a top top player. Cheers ed.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

I don't watch Serie A but having see Juventus in the Champions league a bit, Dybala has never warrented the hype he gets. I don't see it.

Neither have I. Obvious talent, but not consistent enough for the money he’d cost.

Papers now linking us with Shaqiri.

Him and Shaw would be unstoppable in the cafeteria.

If Shaw got in first. There would nothing left in the cafeteria.

I’d say they both try to go through at the same time, and just get stuck.

Leave the jokes, guys. For 12mln tell me a better quality right winger who happily will be a squad player. And do not forget that we are playing without right wing for years.

Agree1 Disagree2

{Ed001's Note - happily be a squad player? He left Bayern because he refused to be a squad player.}

05 Jul 2018 13:09:07
I mean his career has been a litany of failed auditions at big clubs. He ended up at Stoke where he put in no effort. That’s about his level - struggling EPL club where he can get by on natural ability without having to work.

Agree1 Disagree0

05 Jul 2018 13:22:55
Not sure he wanted to leave, more like Bayern wanted to sell.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed001's Note - yes, because he refused to knuckle down and be a squad player.}

05 Jul 2018 13:55:28
A simple question. what if a gamble clicked?

05 Jul 2018 15:38:35
Always tried to back jose and give him the benefit of the doubt but if the rumours about Shaqiri are true I’ll have lost all faith, don’t care if its 12 million or 12 bob he’s not worth it, i watched him against the swedes and i bet he didn’t run a bloody mile all game and that's at the World Cup.

05 Jul 2018 17:32:01
Absolute no to shaq IMO. Wont be happy with what we probably wpuld offer and he'd be leaving again next season.

05 Jul 2018 19:54:58
He’s failed everywhere, why on Earth would we sign him?

Talented player but needs a team to be built around him, and he's not talented or applied enough to get that at a top club. Plus, he personifies the opposite of a "Jose player"! I wouldn't pick him ahead of Lingard, Alexis, Mata, Rashford, or the pre-slump Martial. I'd also rather Pogba play further forward with another midfielder in behind him than in a 2 with Shaqiri as 1 of the attacking 4. A big fat no from me. He'll probably end up joining a smaller club. Liverpool perhaps?
