hi ed, who are the most realistic signings then? {Ed007's Note - De Gea and Young, then I am hoping for Sneijder/Modric and Higuain/Benzema plus a few younger players, hopefully one of them is James McCarhy (sorry to go on about him guy)

Hey, been reding this site for years but never posted. I moved to England from Scotland and I am a Man Utd fan. My new assistants brother is a waiter in the private boxes at OT and has got in the know off some ppl in the club over his 3 years working there. He said an offer has been put in for De Gea and A. Madrid have accepted but apparently De Gea has asked his agent to see if there is any room at Barcelona as he favours a move there before Utd but wants a lot of game time. His agent is in talks with Barca but they have their faith in Valdes and Pinto so good chance its Utd he's coming. Varane is on his way but loaned back asap. There is no talk of right back as they twins are highly regarded at OT. Apparently Modric is the priority over Sneijder as he has prem experiance and will be cheaper so leaves more money for more buys. Sanchez is looked at for wing and upfront but no offer has been given yet. He hasn't gave me any estimations of value as that's just a guessing game. He did say that the club is looking at younger players that will help in the squad week in/week out like Smalling and Hernandez.

He doesn't know about players leaving but there is chat the Gibson and Obertan have been given the chance and never took it properly so are open for offers.

I was hoping for Berbaflop, Carrick and Owen to leave.

I think Fergie has his sights on a player that were not even realising!

transfer clause of Bale has fallen because of lack of consistency.modric was superb throughout the season.but spurs are getting rid of atleast 6 of thir players including keane, bassong, gomez, bentley, hutton, dos santos. infact they r gereting new version of spurs.but due to lack of champions league chance, they r going to loss their stars, atleast Bale, & Modric. I'm 95% sure they r going out of spurs, most probably modric is coming to united for 25m, bale is gonna be singed if sanchez transfer is broken. it will be 20m+berbatov. its the fact.

Wesley Sneijder has recently flew out to have a meeting with one of the clubs in Manchester.
This is not United. Sneijder wants £150,000 a week wages and this is why the deal to bring him to United collapsed.

I really hope this is true!
I've heard from a close friend and die hard Liverpool fan that Young has signed a deal and will be announced over the next two or three days along with Adam.

Hopefully this means we will turn out attentions to A higher calibre of player.

I'm not saying that i believe your rumours but most posters should understand that everything can change very fast on the transfer market. One day a transfer from player A to club B can look certain, and the other day he signs for a different club-

Until there is a signed contract there is nothing definite.

Alexis Sanchez will be Manchester United player within 2 weeks.
United have placed a new bid, however it is not known how much they have thrown for him.But the bid has been made, and i guess it is more than what Barcelona had made.
I believe it is cash + macheda, not 100% sure on this.But one player is involved with the cash.
His agents and Udinese's president Gino Pozzo met in Spain yesterday to discuss a deal.
It is almost certain he choose United over Barca.

according to 'the people' Manchester United have won the race to sign alexis sanchez.
It was a battle between Manchester United and bercelona, but it seems he's chose Manchester United as barca have made an offer but Sanchez is reluctant to join the world's best team because he is worried about not getting any games.

I have knowledge that United are looking at:

Pato Rodriguez but they have just contacted Independente

Modric but they are unwilling to meet the 35-40 million asking price.

Rafael Varane deal is done but as he has exams it will be announded near end of transfer window and he wants first team action he will be loaned back to France next season.

Ashley Young will be signed any day now

De Gea deal is done but he is not finaliseing until his agent's contract runs out on July 1st.

We are NOT getting Alexis Sanchez and Neymar.

Wes Brown has been told he is no longer need at the club also.
