Any truth in United negotiating the past 2 weeks for Muller?

I haven't a clue, but I did post a couple of days ago saying that something has happened over the past couple of weeks in regards to Mueller. Have ourselves or Barcelona offered him some mega bucks? Hopefully it's us. He could certainly play wide left or right of a front three and buying him would enable us to sell Hernandez and Welbeck if they want to leave.

We talked to him 2 weeks ago, not been talking for 2 weeks

Apparently we have been in negotiations with bayern over thomas muller for 2 weeks. Not saying its true but this is a rumour site after all.

As per last year with the thiago rumours, the Spanish press are reporting that Bayern and Pep are in for Fabregas with United apparantley sitting in pole position to nab Schweinsteiger.

Chelsea have signed Fabregas
Would love Schweinsteiger at United tho

Would prefer Schweinsteiger to Fabragas.

I am reading the same thing. Also reading we bid for Muller two weeks ago. If Fabregas is announced at Bayern I can see one of them coming to Man U. Remember Schweinsteiger is 29 so not as young as some may realise. I can see Guardiola letting him go and using Kroos instead with Fabregas and Thiago in front. I can't see Muller to be honest, I just think he is ruffling his feathers. He is Munich through and through. I'm going to stick my neck out and say best scenario will be Schweinsteiger, Hummels, Shaw and Depay to come in.

Fabregas is gone to Chelsea 100% I have just been informed!am I the only one that is glad we didn't get to sign him.

He would make Chelsea far stronger and even harder for us to get nearer to them.
Fabregas is a top player who along with another like Schweinsteiger in central midfield would improve us dramatically. I think it would be a major mistake to miss out on him unless we have something sensational lined up. Sorry but if that was Clasie and Strootman I will be very concerned

{Ed002's Note - Feyenoord's Clasie remains a target for Fiorentina but whilst interest from Spurs seems to have waned, Sunderland, Swansea and Manchester United are showing interest. I don't see him dropping in to the first team immediately. As for Kevin Strootman, unless his injury clears up to where he can at least pass a medical even if he cannot prove his return to form would be high risk for the buying club unless the transfer was caveated and he perhaps stayed in Italy until next year.}

Do any of the eds know if there is any truth to the Enzo Perez rumours. The guy has plenty of energy for our midfield and I believe that a work permit would be easier to get now that he is in the final 23 man squad for the world cup
