Hearing rumours that Southampton are close with a deal for Timothée Kolodziejczak. A replacement for Shaw? If so, could be good news for us!
Numerous sources state that the Shaw deal is as good as done. I expect that it will be announced at the soonest possible opportunity.

Reports that Kroos, Muller and Gotze are far from happy with Pep's style. So much so that he has acknowledged this. I think the Kroos deal is very much becoming a reality. I can also see us enquiring for Gotze and go for Reus. LVG I believe will go for players with great quality, high level of skill and CL experience.
I'm starting to believe Kroos and Reus deals may potentially happen. I less believe the goetze and muller rumours tho.
I get the feeling that Muller is using us for a new deal, but I think Gotze definitely wants out.
Yeah I think the too regarding Muller. Is gotze another number 10 style player not really sure?
I think he is more of a winger to be honest. He certainly has the pace and skill to do so. Reus and Hazard would be the pick, but that won't happen probably.
Gotze is central playmaker, preferred position is the '10', he can play on the wings but just like Kagawa he is wasted out wide.
Out of the four Kroos and Rues are the only two that are likely, and the only two we actually need tbh. Muller and Gotze while both are top players are not essential and would be exceptionally pricey, a pointless luxury buy IMO.
I really do hope we can get both Kroos and Rues though.
To be honey I would like to see Reus and Januzaj line up either side of RVP. Only a special player like Hazard would change things for me.
Personally can't see any of those deals happening although I'll gladly eat my words.
The transfer market will be crazy for us.
I do believe:
- We are not in for Kroos, as he's not worth 35 million pounds. For less than than, maybe;
- Luke Shaw will be probably coming;
- Gotze can play in almost any position up front, but he will be very, very pricey. A thing to note: in my humble opinion, he's on the same level as Hazard in terms of potential, but has more tendency for injurys than the later one;
- I would go all in for Reus, as he's another player that does not get injuried so much;
- i'm a fan of Muller, but I don't think he has space in the Manchester United squad, although I would consider selling Rooney if a 35 bid from France would come.
Completely agree MikonBR. Kroos is one of those players than does everything right and looks good, but I think people vastly over rate him. There are a lot of players out there for half of his price tag who are just as/more effective. Its unwarranted to pay £35m for him. However, like you said, I would pay £30m for Shaw, also Carvalho. Players who will become instrumental in their position and players that a team can be build around (especially Carvalho, his positioning etc gives us more dynamics for various styles of play).
