What do people make of the rumours united are having second thoughts on the falcao deal.
I would be a bit gutted to be honest i do wonder if the truth of it is we are going for 1 main striker and that's rvp

I think it's just journalists being stupid again to be honest. I hope so anyway, for me falcao is the best striker in the world

The papers write all kinds of stupid stuff. I believe his injury for what it is. I have had a similar injuries and what happens it takes a while for the rest of the muscles to build up to their previous best and you do tend to pick up injuries that are not related to his knees. On form he is better than Rooney, RVP and in a different league.

Agree that he's one of the best strikers in the world; at least he was before his injury. I'm hoping that he will be back to his best but if he fails to demonstrate the kind of ability he showcased in Madrid I wouldn't be surprised if we think twice about signing him permanently. Whether or not we make his move permanent should depend on his performances with his cost and age being taken into account.

Not long ago were we told that he would join permanently. They really have no clue.

Not long ago we where told we would play 3-5-2
Maybe there has been a change in plan.
4-3-3?

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this is just another rubbish media story because he is a great player. He needs to get fit and he will be awesome.

Jred not long ago; not only were we told but we actually did play 3-5-2

And that's my point was falcao brought in as the plan was to play with 2 strikers.
Are we maybe moving towards playing only 1 striker hence the backtracking on paying 44 mill and 300 k a week on falcao

Agree0 Disagree0

Possibly journalistic guesswork, they need to fill column inches and if they have enough guesses one will eventually be right so they can claim to say they got it right. If and it is an if I would guess that perhaps working with Wilson and seeing the physical nature of the league has changed his opinion, perhaps he is looking for more pace?

Agree0 Disagree0

If lvg has now decided that 1 striker is the way to go you would have to wonder if 44 mill and 300k for falcao would still be on the cards.
For me i think the lone striker is falcao best position and i would have him before rvp all day long but would lvg ?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed004's Note - Maybe he will over the season relies that RVP is on the decline. I really miss the diamond. Can't wait for falcao to get fit.}

Ed004
I thought rvp was every ones main man

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed004's Note - I think RVP needs either a strike partner or a more reduced role}

Either out of form or gone over the hill, I remember someone saying on here that RVP will leave this season, who knows but he doesn't look happy

Hi Ed's

Are MU interested in Vlaar for this coming January window?

Thanks

{Ed002's Note - If there is a list then he is not at the top.}

So who would be, the transfer window isn't that far away?

{Ed002's Note - RTFP.}

Hummels is the obvious name and the editor has confirmed that we are "scouting" Shawcross but haven't approached stoke yet.

Apart from that there is nothing on center backs that I can find.
