Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder will be sold in January to fund a treble transfer swoop by Inter Milan.
According to reports in Italy, Inter are ready to cash in on Dutch playmaker Sneijder in order to sign a trio of stars who are all wanted by Premier League sides.
Brazilian midfielders Casemiro and Lucas da Silva are two of the names on their list, which could come as bad news to Tottenham and Liverpool, who have shown interest in the pair in the past.
Inter are also lining up a big-money move for Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Mario Gotze, the 19-year-old who starred in their Bundesliga-winning campaign last season, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United as a replacement for the retired Paul Scholes.
Inter think they can land the trio for a combined total of around £70m, half of which would be funded by the sale of Sneijder.

And who the hell will buy wesley for 35m, he's worth around 22m + or -2m. thats it

During the summer Inter were looking at Lucas, Goetze or Casemiro to replace Sneijder. But as we know they couldn't shift him. But if they believe they will get £35m for Sneijder, then they have another thing coming. He will cost a maximum of £25m due to his ridiculous wage demands.

As it stands I think Inter would be lucky to get £20 million for him now other clubs know he's available.... HERBIE

Sneijder was always available mate. Inter held talks with Malaga officials in July in Milan. We held talks with Sneijder's representatives on a few occasions and if he was willing to drop his wages by £60k a week he would have been playing for us now. A package with a basic salary of £160k a week to play for us is a nice deal IMO. Don't forget the bonuses would have bumped it up further for him. This basic salary was double what our ginger prince was getting.

Yes I know Syd, what I mean is other teams now know inter want different players brought in but have to sell Sneijder to do that so affectively Inter could be held to ransom where as in the summer Inter played hard ball.... HERBIE

I was told that we agreed a fee of around £29m with Inter for the Dutchman. The fee was never an issue with Sneijder, it was always the salary. But you are right mate, now Inter are getting more desperate to offload him, they will accept a lower fee as his wages are killing them. They need to offload him and soon. It's the player that is being difficult. Either him or his agent.

I dont care what anyone says, i for one would still LOVE to see sneijder play for us even if it is for only 3 or 4 years......
either him or goetze and ill be well happy :-)

I doubt that this story would happen but am surprised why people aren't questioning why we'd go for Sneijder instead of Inter's targets? We've been linked with Goetze and Lucas in the past so why would we go for a player that Inter want to replace?!

Man Utd are looking at 3 big signings next year
DL to replace Evra
MC to replace Carrick
SC to replace Berba
We will also attempt to get Barkley from Everton
Then we have Pogba and Morrison to come through and Tom thorpe from the reserves/under 18's
any ideas who would be good to replace the 3 above players??

Evra - Izaguirre/Alba/Cissokho
Ferdinand - Cahill/Subotic/Shawcross
Carrick - Rodwell/Garcia/M.Sissoko
I don't think Berbatov will be replaced by a striker, I think Sneijder would have come in, with Berbatov leaving. An attacking midfielder could do the job of Berbatov IMO.

Stop talking nonsense, he is just flavour of the month. sneijder will not be signing.

Izaguirre for Evra, Thiago Silva for Ferdinand, Sergio Canales for Carrick, Wolfswinkel for Man Utd. Javi Garcia to come in as well.

Izaguirre - LOL
really proven at the highest level.. SPL. enough said. NO.

Izaguirre is the most overrated player in Scotland. Cost Celtic the league through totally naive defending on various occassions. Not PL class never mind United class. Steer well clear of this one!
Evra replaced by Fabio
Carrick replaced by Pogba
Berbatov replaced by Morrison
No spending neccesary!

As i said yesterday about Sir Alex wanting Canale the same year he moved to Madrid surely his interest would not have ended within a year or so he is really impressing a Valencia ATM,he would be a great signing within the next 1-2 years,we are being linked with the two Benfica lads Gaitan ( who looks a very impressive player) & Javi Garcia, are they Real targets do we feel guys?

They signed Garcia from Madrid last season or the one before so we won't be. Only about 5mil I think as well

Unfortunately Canales is on a 2 year loan deal with an option to buy at the end of it, and for a modest total. i don't see him leaving Spain, but i agree he looks great...unless the ref is marking him.
I also like Javi Martinez, but i think that is a longshot. I think we'll continue to buy English players. SAF said he wanted to leave a team for the future and i think English players are likely to stay loyal to the club

Heard united are looking at Jordi Alba fron Valencia to replace Evra in January or the summer. Similar build, quick and good going forward and he is young 22-23 ish. Also attracting alot of attention as has a very good start to the season. keep you eye out for him. very talented. Also Javi Garcia would be a good choice as he would beable to replace Carrick and allow cleverley and anderson to get forward more and pull a few strings.

Someone from Benfica could be on his way to United, not now maybe in summer. One things for sure that SAF takes much more interest in players once they've played against us.

On Revista today Graham Hunter said the year Madrid signed Canales United thought they would sign that summer and Sir lex was even prepared to go to spain and conivince him to come but his agent (his dad) convinced him to move to Real Madrid

That is 100% true mate, we were hot faves to sign him at one point. This is why I mentioned him in the summer as a more realistic target than Banega.
