Hi Ed002.
Considering very thin central midfield options, are united looking to strengthen that area??
Every one is talking about cb and strikers but midfield area is still a concern as we are very thin there. Specially Anderson and fletcher is gone

{Ed002's Note - Vidal is due to be sold in the summer and I suspect there is still interest. Nainggolan might, if his complex ownership can be completely resolved, be an option (and the ownership issues are far clearer than they were). Strootman has been injured for a while and whilst he remains a target there may be too much of a risk with his injury issues to make a move for him - but don't be surprised. Carvalho remains a player that both Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in and his situation remains the same. He is for sale, but the asking price would need to come down to make any move possible. De Jong may be considered as an alternative.

Gundogan can almost certainly removed from the list of players moving to Manchester United this year but the club has shown interest. Pogba will be outrageously expensive and there is strong interest from elsewhere. Pjanic was a Moyes target and I suspect interest has gone. Transfer fee and wages are very high. Khedira has been of interest but a move seems unlikely. Matuidi is a player the club has considered but he has no interest in leaving PSG. Interest in Viktor Fischer will have gone completely.}

Any truth in these Khedira rumours. Would be a brilliant signing, especially on a free.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - Khedira is able to sign a pre-contract agreement with any side outside of Spain now and AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Arsenal and Schalke 04 sre all interest. Each of these clubs has spoken with thge representatives of the player. The player's representatives have also approached Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich to guage interest as Khedira is keen to play in the Champions League next season. Chelsea and Arsenal are both concerned about the player's on going fitness. At the end of the day, if he can prove his fitness, Liverpool or Schalke would likely be the best fit for him. Schalke are had discussions with the player but are struggling to find a way to match his wage demands.}

Hi ed's.

Has anyone got any more information on danny ings or Benzema, regarding moves to us?

Would most of our transfer targets already be planned out?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - There has been interest shown in Ings and Benzema will be available but no interest has been shown. Much will depend on Champions League qualification and any managerial change that may happen - and that is now dependent on other factors.

Manchester United, as all clubs, have players in mind but will be looking at players every week still.}

Managerial change? Now depends on other factors would I be right in saying the other factor is ancelotti?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Hi Ed002,
Has circumstances changed around the managerial change? As LvG seems to have on track to achieve the minimum requirement asked of him will this have a bearing on future decisions?

Cheers

{Ed002's Note - They have changed but it is zip to do with van Gaal. It is not a matter for discussion right now.}
