Lucas Moura's agent has came out and said that there has been no offer from PSG.

-JakeW

Believable4 Unbelievable11

In honesty, i get the feeling that either moura's agent, or the sao paulo president, are behind all these constant up and down rumours with moura.

juvental rates moura at an personic 40m, and apparantly he does have a reputation -in brazil- for getting good money from selling players. a brazilian version of tottenham's levy it seems.

Personally i would say that if this is meant to be an intelligent business plan however, im really not that impressed. They must think we are as needy and stupid as they are. Do they really beleive that media pressure is going to result in Man United magically bidding 10 or 15m extra for their player.

Sao Paulo's only hope to get over 35m would be if one of the super spending sides, most of who have full squads already, come in and pay them a huge sum. But why should they choose moura? At 40m they can buy close to world class players in europe.

Rather than being smart, I feel this sao paulo contigent are embarrassing themselves. Considering people reading tabloids are already figuring things out, imagine what it must seem like to proffesional clubs, who have connections, contacts, negotiators/financial reviewers etc. Sao Paulo's motivations must be visable to them from miles off.

Ultimately, the risk is firmly with sao paulo, not us. Will moura's value be able to increase beyond 27m playing in brazil? - he would be getting older, running further into his contract, and still playing at a c tier level.
They will have to do very well just to keep the price at its current level. Even neymar has no suitors at the 50m.
So they might aswell stop playing games, and take a serious look at their situation. If we miss out on moura at 35m i have no problems with that. 27m is a fair bid for both parties.

united have pulled out of moura deal because his family and agent wanted £6 million on top of the £25 million we had agreed with his club, they will look elsewhere, great player goes begging again and another one we've missed out on, to get the talent you have to pay for the talent, we are definately going backwards now, trailing city and chelsea, we just cant compete or simply just wont. not much to look forward to this season sorry lads.

Believable12 Unbelievable30

If Moura is so weak willed that he cannot stand up to these people then we'd probably have another Pogba on our hands eh? I don't believe any of it until he signs for someone (most probably post-olympics) but cheer up mate, he's not the only player out there!

Agree3 Disagree0

You make me laugh! We are not behind chelsea and city. Last season we trow it away, we have very young squad and anyway lucas moura is not the answer to some of our wickness.

We need good beef in the middle like Tiote and we are in buiness.

JLBER84

Agree2 Disagree1

There is plenty to look forward to. We only lost the title on the last day to a team that hasnt strengtened this summer and wont unless they sell. Chelsea may have made a couple of marquee signings but have lost their best player. Utd however have made a great signing in kagawa, got vidic back which is like a new signing, got some good looking youngsters coming through, cleverley and anderson back injury free, the best manager in the prem and will still strenghten this summer. Whether its an unproven brazilian we ll need to wait and see but it remains that we will be challanging again

Agree1 Disagree0

So we should be held to ransom by players ridiculous demands?
IF this is true then well done United.

Agree2 Disagree0

Admit im no expert on world football, you obviuosly are.30 mill.for 19 year old whose on bench in olympics, rather have proven ability myself.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fallen behind Chelski?

A team who have sold thier best player, signed one hugely egotistical young star (Hazard) and a bunch of young potential, one of whom was the next big thing 2 years ago and has failed to improve (even gone backward acording to some) since then (Marin, ask any German football fan about him, they'll laugh their head off).

Agree0 Disagree0

Not mucch to look forward to! we can look forward to taking our title back, the return of vidic and more importantly the return of darren fletcher, plus we will still make another signing or 2 so stop panicking lucas moura is not the be all and end all

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice optimism from original poster were you crying in your drink last game of the season or the one stood there saying i told you so
rediculous comment

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's sensible to not give in to agents demands, BUT in this case apparently both the agent and the parents are entitled to a 10 percent share each of the transfer fee and therefore United will have to deal with this and possibly pay up if we want to sign Lucas.
Simple as that.

These are not some kind of dodgy fee, but simply part of the tee to transfer his registration from the current holders (80% club, 10% family, 10% agent)

Jonny8 {Ed002's Note - Don't believe everything you read.}

I wouldnt pay his family 6 mill anyway, unless were signing them for the lb position!

Are we still looking at Christian Eriksen? £20m has been bounded around that Ajax would accept for him, would'nt that be a better bet than Moura at £30m. Did'nt he also say he would love to play for united?

Is there going to be a pre-match press conference before this Barca game?
Is SAF still in England?

Hey guys last year my sources told me that Rooney would sign a new contract and that the meeting went well.

A couple of days after that Rooney signed and my sources we correct.

Brought to you FIRST, as usual. ( before Sky, or the National Newspapers), my sources inform me that 'RVP' will be announced as a United player by the time we play Hannover on Saturday afternoon in a £20m deal.

MANUTD1990

Believable28 Unbelievable13

I remember that post, hope your correct again! -JakeW

Agree1 Disagree0

Hopefully your right again and we can actually have someone on here whole posts accurate stuff.

WYTHENSHAWE RED

Agree1 Disagree0

I hope ur right ive had 200pounds on at 5/2 that would be happy days was told 4 weeks ago about rvp tb mcr

Agree0 Disagree0

And RVP is with Arsenal "in Germany" until Sunday!

Tommy

Agree0 Disagree2

I have no sources but I can tell you for q fact that you either have no sources or your sauces have gone bad.
Mark my Words, Arsenal will never sell to Manchester United if there are any other options, there will be absolute outrage of they do. They will sell to city for less before they sell to united. It will Never happen.
You have a better chance of prying Moura from psg than completing this signing
Jauganaut.

Agree0 Disagree4

Doesn't matter weather there the other side of the planet.

He wants out, arsenal have already bought his replacements, wit none they don't have as there paying off there huge stadium, funds have to come from somewhere.

arsenal and united have been negotiating for the past week, falright 20 million agreed And my source expects it to be announced Sunday.

SUNDAY I'll be on posting my victory message again so be sure to comment on Sunday :)

MANUTD1990

Agree1 Disagree0

Jauganaut,

Unfortunately for you I think you are wrong mate, you sold some of your best players to City and that put them ahead of you. I am sure Wenger would rather sell to United than sell someone else to City.

I have a strong feeling Robin van Persie will be a United player by this time next week.

GDS

Agree0 Disagree0

And jauhanaut wenger has already said that hes not selling anymore players to city, and with Mancini himself saying RVP won't go city, and with juventus saying he's no value,

It leaves only us, so come Saturday you will be first to hear from me LOL :)

MANUTD1990

Agree1 Disagree0

We shall see. If it happens, i will post my congratulations but I have a feeling you will not be posting come saturday
Yes Mancini said he will not be signing rvp but he also said last season that city were no longer competing for the premier league He won it.
Jauganaut

Agree0 Disagree0

That was to simply take the pressure off his team.

MANUTD1990

Agree0 Disagree0

Nonesnese! anyone who actually believes we will get rvp wants to give thier head a wobble

Agree0 Disagree0

1990, didn't Rooney sign a new deal TWO years ago and I do believe he had a meeting at OT with Stretford, SAF, Gill and the Glazers (via video link), and his U-turn was announced a few hours later.

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

MANUTD1990 is correct. As per my earlier post RVP will be our new no 9. He should have signed for us by now but wenger was hoping for Juve deal to happen, but now since it has gone cold, he has no option to sell RVP to Man Utd for risk loosing him for free next year.

Sammy_THEREDDEVIL {Ed002's Note - Or he can sign a new contract with Arsenal.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would they announce on a Sunday?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah when he signed his new contract I did post a few days before, and theycwill announce it Saturday not Sunday as I said in the original post.

Will see anyway and with the moura deal looking dead all our attention is on RVP.

MANUTD1990

Agree0 Disagree0

And Sydney I got told days before the meeting that he was going to sign, that was purely a stunt just to hush up the green and gold for a while.

To prove we can still pay the highest wages and keep the best players.

Belive what you will, I've been told that RVP will sign from a source that has never been wrong in the past about transfers.

So untill Saturday comes I can only tell you what I've been told.

Everyone knows we're in for him and have been in negotiations over the past few weeks. And now moura looks over he's are number one target.

Just a question for the ed. any more news on regarding welbeck and his contract talks?

MANUTD1990

Agree0 Disagree0

1990, I will give anyone the benefit of doubt mate, I wasn't trying to diss you, just posted how I thought things happened.

To add to my two previous posts: MUFC talks with RVP went smoothly this morning. RVP is meeting Wenger in London tomorrow with regards to his talks with MUFC and also with regards to his future at Arsenal.

Agree0 Disagree0

This situation is identical to the rooney 1, a player tells tells hi club they want out through 'lack of ambition' it gets all the fans and the media in uproar and before you no the player has signed a new lucrative contract, this time next week rvp will announce that hes staying at arse

caughtoffsh1te are running separate stories on Joao Moutinho & Fabio Coentrao.
They are stating that we are ready to bid 25m for Moutinho and that Coentrao has not settled in Madrid and is looking to leave.
Would prefer these 2 signings instead of Moura & Van Persie. Both would instantly improve the 2 areas that we are desperate to improve.

We would never have gone up to that sum," Moratti said on Italian TV. "In any case, there are no regrets that we didn't finish off the move, as the cost was already pretty high a few days ago.
"The €45 million that PSG offered is completely illogical and for us it would have been very out of key with our approach.
"PSG are starting a new era, so they are completely reconstructing the squad. At least I can relish the fact I'm saving money."

well thats from the inter milan president so I think thats lucas off to PSG
jred

Believable10 Unbelievable5

Why exactly?

Sydney!

Agree0 Disagree0

Because i think money talks and 45mill will get him.
brazil newspapers are saying that ribero is not even talking to united any more
english papers reporting that united walked away from deal due to family and agent demands.
i would take whats in the papers as gospel but if morrati is correct then i think at 45 mill PSG will get him
jred

Agree0 Disagree0

Those qoutes don't look like what an Italian would say, in my opinion those qoutes are either made up or dodgily translated by a site like....

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not going to claim that I know anything about the deal, however I do know that Moratti is a gob-sh!te. He knows nothing, talks rubbish and generally just flounces around trying to show off how much power he has. Your league is gash Moratti and when you are the most mental president in your country, and the competition is Berlusconi (AC Milan board role), you should learn to think before you speak. My bet - nothings happening with Moura because he's at the Olympics and they wont release for a medical, and loads of bids are acceptable to his club just his (also) nutcase agent is trying to get a pay packet. It might be worth baring in mind that after the Pogba malarky that perhaps its not the players we are trying to avoid, its the worst of the worst agents; maybe in dealing with these people the hierarchy at OT are thinking "do we really need this lad (and our club) being destabilised every season by this bellend?".

Agree1 Disagree0

They were on Italian TV and a few of the english papers are also running the story

On the United Official website in the gossip column it says that we are willing to pay the buyout clause for Axel Witsel. Witsel is certainly a player that I want to see here. Speaking specutively, say that we were prepared to spend £50 million on Moura and RVP - could we possibly spend that on RVP, Witsel and Isco? It would be good to get Witsel in particular as he can match up to Yaya Toure.

Also, I'd just like to say that I am delighted to hear that Fletcher is going to train with the Scottish national team. Thats fantastic news, hopefully we will see him come back just as strong as before!

RedDevil19

Believable16 Unbelievable8

Great thread, well written with insight. I've had enough of Moura + Snieder on off deals. If they don't want to play for us, then 'sod off'. Witsel + RVP + Isco great investments.

As for Fletch... He's been really poorly, I'm concerned he may not be the player he was. Only time will tell, it wont be for lack of support, unlike the moans and criticism our medics got from 'Sick Note' Hargreaves

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with you about Fletch.
Hope he can make a comeback, we missed him last season.

The official United website is only quoting tabloid rumour mongering. Not to be taken seriously.
Agree that Witsel would be a good addition tho, but can't imagine we would sign all three.

RedMist

Agree0 Disagree0

Benfica want £31 million for Witsel. Can't see us getting him!

I posted the details of the Isco enquiry yesterday. I now know that he is purely the next target if the Lucas Moura deal does not happen.

It is growing more likely that Lucas will not becoming and Isco is the second choice, he is very talented playing either of the left wing or in the CAM position in behind the strikers (similar to Kagawa)

Think it's either Isco and Van Persie OR Lucas Moura and Van Persie and at the minute the first one seems more realistic

fearny

Believable11 Unbelievable15

Just seen isco on youtube. looks good for a 2nd choice.

Agree1 Disagree0

Fearny you know absolutely nothing. You regurgitate what you find in articles and claim it as you own.

Agree3 Disagree1

By all means have an opinion... But next time do you fancy posting a name on your comment

fearny

Agree2 Disagree1

Left side or CAM is exactly what Kagawa is. Why would we want him when we have Young and Nani who could also do the same? This really baffles me! Witsel/ Moutinho/Modric/Sneijder are desperately more needed.

Dan

Agree0 Disagree2

Fearny
the isco story was on a few websites yesterday and was actual posted on here , " a cut and paste " before you broke the story
jred

Agree1 Disagree0

He won't be a bad second choice. Technically gifted, left foot Spaniard. We could do with a naturally left footed player so he would be a decent signing.

RedDevil19

Sky sources on SSN just said that united look set to miss out cause Moura prefers a move to PSG and they've already set a date for his medical

Believable9 Unbelievable24

Where I can't see it?

Caolán.

Agree0 Disagree0

Saw this on some sites today but PSG have said they will be making no more big signings and they would have to get rid of a player because they are up to their non EU quota of players

Agree0 Disagree0

How can you buy that?

I know you are just the messenger, but you dont need the relate every BS in the net. C'Mon Man!

JLBER84

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets be honest sao paulo want silly money for this player, their demands were ridiculous, i wont loose any sleep about this, we need a defensive midfielder not another winger

Agree1 Disagree0

Oh no! Sky Sports News!
It must be true then.

Worst "news" agency around. The last place you should be looking for news mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

I find it funny that the only thing about moura on ssn is that were in pole position for him nothing about him going to psg try to make true rumors before posting lies

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't remember which ed said that run the stories to get the bets moving but they're def spot on, funny to read the stories after that insight

Dustbin

Agree0 Disagree1

All it is is Paulo Freitas (SSN correspondent from Brazil), he is just passing on rumours from Brazilian media. If you follow him on Twitter then you would know this.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sky sports news is the most reliable news source around, im not saying there always right but their more reliable than anybody else, although this story does seem to contradict what ancolloti said, have sao poalo dismissed this rumour cos evrytime some one reports that utd have signed him they come ot and completely dismiss it

Agree0 Disagree0

SSN is the television equivelent of 'The Sun or Mirror papers.....and would you honestly believe a word they say? Almost, but not quite, as bad as Talk Shi*e, (sorry sport).Actually hope it's true though, as I think we would be seriously ripped off....this kid doesn't even get in the Olympic team!

Jred, if we are going to believe what Moratti says then according to Moratti United have made a similar bid to that of PSG. So perhaps both clubs have had a fee agreed by SP, but appears the club are still yet to agree a deal with Ribeiro.

Bloody agent fees again by the looks of things.

Saw on another site that PSG's bid for Lucas Moura is worth in excess of £35million but the player's agent Wagner Ribeiro is remaining cool on the topic, saying the winger was announced as going first to United and now to PSG but he is merely enjoying the Olympics.

Believable7 Unbelievable7

If Utd have £30mil accepted or less, why would PSG go in with £35mil. Surerly they would match it?? This tells me its rubbish. Even if the agent gets a bigger cut, the player has the final say so why pay more than necessary - rubbish I think!

Agree0 Disagree0

06 Aug 2012 13:19:34
Hearing some of the rumours about Real Madrid making a £20m bid for Nani, I think we should accept it and put in a bod for Ibrahim Affellay for £8-10m which would be a good replacement for half the price any thoughts?

Believable6 Unbelievable46

Sell one of our better players and replace him with a guy who can't get a look in at Barca?
Nani is worth considerably more than £20mil. We bought him for what? £17mil, he's twice the player he was when he came, he's won trophies consistently and has shown he is more than capable at international level.

RedMist

Agree2 Disagree0

I would be gutted to lose Nani. I have suspected for a while that he could be sold if we signed one of the wingers/creators we have been linked with lately.

Brendan

Agree3 Disagree0

Only sell Nani if we can get Lucas in. Also, 20m is ridiculous, very minimum of 25m and should be looking for over 30m. Juve and both the Milan teams were interested a couple of months ago why can't we start a bidding war of our own!

Dan

Agree1 Disagree0

Ok we could maybe get £25-30m for him but i still think he would be a good replacement because he has shown good form when he was played and he has had a good Euro 2012

Jack

Agree0 Disagree1

Who afellay had a good euro 2012, didn't his team lose all 3 matches?

GDS

Agree1 Disagree0

Has has shown good form for united and Portugal over the last 4 years but its patchy and most of the time he simply doesn't deliver what a no 7 should. People see his skill and ability and then let him of too easily. He has had 4 years to prove himself which is plenty of time but is unlikely to ever realize his potential.

Modric at all costs!

Dan

Agree0 Disagree1

Affellays agent has confirmed that he will not leave barca this summer

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah I've got some thoughts , keep ridiculous ideas in your head:) nani is worth 5 times ... Actually I'll stop there ridiculous post

Agree0 Disagree0

My opinion here, don't know about anyone else. Ibrahim Afellay big money move to barca and doesn't feature for them! Not much game time and As for Afellay in the Euro's do I need to say much just look at his performances!!
Johnny RED

Agree0 Disagree0

Nani is useless though, he was brought for £17mil for the potential, the next CR7, but he hasnt grown, he's stagnated. All i was sayin is be realistic an bid for players that u have a chance of signing, coz yous are all getting a bit depressed on here latley. an fergie is not far from the bone yard, how will yous get any players if he is not around to give back handers

eire red

Agree1 Disagree0

We are the biggest sports club in the world. As good as Fergie is he will be replaced by a top manager because we are Manchester United! FFP will only help our cause and the debt is only going down. We have one of the brightest futures in world football even if the lack of top transfers are pissing me off atm!
There are new potentially world class 19 year olds appearing every year or 2 and with FFP coming in the rich oil prince backed clubs can stop pretending they are big clubs and we can secure signings for sensible prices. Not to mention the likes of Daehli, Pereira, Januzaj coming through the academy they are among the best players in the world for their age.
This seem painful now but the future is very bright.

Agree0 Disagree0

Everyone one mentioned carroll but forgot about the lasiest player in the league berbatoff.couldn pay a club to take him. and henderson yous tryed to sign him aswell just another one yous lost out on.wat a future he has at LFC

eire red

Agree0 Disagree0

Berbatov may be lazy but he still one of the most technically gifted players in the prem. If you look where swansea finished last season then think of all the players rodgers is trying to buy then you may have an indication of where you will finish this year. And as for world class players were missing out on at least were not missing out on plqayers that decide to sign for a massive club like tottenham who also like yourselves havent won anything of note for a while

Agree0 Disagree0

We never bidded for henderson we made an enqury and when Sunderland asked for was was it 18 mil ( I may be a few million out ) I believe Fergie pi**ed himself laughing and passed on that gem of a player.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen the news toady pal? Selling your best CB to fund transfers....now if that's not a team 'on the up' I don't know what is!

Still you are right in a way, if we don't strengthen further we'll still only finish 30-40 points above your joke of a team

We scouted Henderson and he was offered to us for 15 mil but we didn't go through as we wasn't and never will be united quality. Liverpool signed Henderson for 20 mil I guess.the joke here is on liverpool or are you guys so dumb to ignore this. UNITEDABHISHEK

mancini said that he doubts that he will sign rvp juventus said that there intrest has cooled down and fergie has said that he is intrested does this mean that we will sign him?

Believable15 Unbelievable13

That post sums up how silly rumors start and how fans can get their hopes up...what you've said is basically that just because two clubs have eased off on their interest of a player, it means we're going to sign him. Take a breath and stop multiplying factors so you get the answer you want to hear. If any player we're strongly linked with isn't standing with Fergie and Gill with a United shirt on then he isn't a United player. So calm down!

Eds, if we were to sign moura and van persie do you think that our spending would be over?

Ozzy {Ed002's Note - I am sorry but I can't answer speculative whatif questions like that.}

That was not a whatif question

Of course it would be over we'd be up to 70m spent in one window.

Red Joe

I think it would definitely be the end of spending unless Nani, Berbatov and maybe Macheda all move on for a handsome fee.

Ed what would happen if a immovable object met an unstoppable force.....this question is more quizzical that speculative!! philosophical answers are appreciated

Fat Bear

To not move in a certain level of dimensions while the force may be acting upon the object within another. In that case the immovable object would stay in place while moving :-) Or gain infinite internal energy

Agree0 Disagree0

The immovable may only be constrained to not move in a certain level of dimensions while the force may be acting upon the object within another. In that case the immovable object would stay in place while moving :-) Or gain infinite internal energy The immovable force may also have a vector different from that of the constraint of the immovable object, in which case it would gently pass beside it.

Don't really trust ANY source atm, one time they say that Manchester United agree a deal, then they say PSG. There are two reasons why the PSG offer isn't true:

1.Ancelotti said that ibrahimovic will be their last big
money signing.

2.I don't think the Brazil FA will let PSG have a medical
while he's in the Olympics.

So, don't rule anything in our out until the transfer window closes.

Believable14 Unbelievable5

Why does Anceolotti have to tell the truth. Maybe he us just being conservative. Don't know why Silva would have recommended Lucas to us though in an interview a few days ago...
Some papers are saying PSG would make the deal to buy him in December which is Sao Paulos' transfer window and would allow them to replace Lucas.

Dan

All these people believing PSG have got Lucas, they haven't. The papers just wanted a new story. Yesterday it was us, today it's PSG and tomorrow it will be bloody Blackburn for goodness sake.

PSG said last week they have finished their summer signings and after buying Lavezzi, Ibrahimovic and Silva etc. I think Moura will find it hard to get in the side.

As for Van Persie I truly want him to come to OT just mainly for the fact that he can score 30+ goals a season for the next 2 or 3. Ferguson did say that we need to score more goals every league game and you can clearly see he is pursuing what he wants! Kagawa (10+ Goals) RVP (If not injured 30+ goals) Same with Rooney and then Welbeck and Chicha can get their fair share too.

For Lucas though, I would say stop listening to the media until after the Olympics because nothing is going to happen right now.

Signing off, -JakeW

Believable26 Unbelievable2

I don't think Rooney and RVP would both score 30+ goals in the same seaon as the reason they have done is because they are the main men. You need to play every game to score 30+ goals.

1redarmy

Agree1 Disagree0

30+ goals a season?
Last year was by far his best return, prior to that he was lucky to get into double figures.
If we sign RVP im certain that Welbeck will not sign a new contract and we'll lose one of our most promising young strikers. RVP has a couple of years in him, Welbeck has his whole career ahead of him.
You can't play Rooney, Kagawa and RVP in the same team and get the best out them all. One of them will end up playing out of position and they will under perform. Still to find room for Nani, Valencia, Young or even Moura.
We would be over loading quality in the same areas of the pitch.
Surely we could buy someone we actually NEED for £20mil.

Anon E. Muss.

Agree2 Disagree0

Some people on here seem to forget this is a squad game now and all players are fully aware of the fact, we can sign all these players and have a world class squad, with a world class team and bench, have a look at our neighbours, so yes we can buy all these players and yes they can all play in the same SQUAD.

Samster1

Agree3 Disagree0

We need a world class striker to take the burden off Rooney who is a number 10 and should not be our top scorer. RVP is proven in the PL as a top player and is 29 so will allow the likes of Welbeck, Hernandez and Will Keane to still have a long future with the club. The only donside would be his injury record and how much he will cost. Playing wise and for phasing in future players he is perfect for the squad. If Welbeck cant wait a few years to be a first team regular and wants to leave then that is his loss. We cannot afford to take the risk on him now when city will have Aguero and Tevez, Chelsea will have Torres and Hazard and even Giroud and Podolski would score more goals than Welbeck atm.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as we don't pay over 20 - 22m then anyone who doesn't want RVP is insane!

I now feel that Van Persie is the maim target and that Isco could be a better and much cheaper option than Moura if the current speculation is to be believed. The Moura deal has now turned into a saga , another reason the Isco story could have been released would be to put pressure on Sao Paolo .
Raffa

Believable13 Unbelievable3

Raffa,

Its only turned into a saga because people are going on about it. Anybody coming to United will be big news, and with the other club coming out making statements it gives the press something to go with.

If you don't like speculation don't read it, and probably get off this site lol.

GDS

Agree0 Disagree0

Dead right, it's only a saga because of the football mad media and leaks from other clubs to appease their own fans. Nothing comes out of OT unless they want it to.

Besides, this Moura kid can't even get into his Olympic team, ( albeit a good one!)

Any news on the RM bid for Nani? if its true that weve sealed the moura deal, then maybe Nani will leave for cash & Sahin?

MUFC

Believable1 Unbelievable17

From what I'm reading we are a long way from securing any deal for Moura. If the press are to be believed, it is more likely that we will buy RVP.

I imagine the Nani sale if sold will be a cash sale as it will make the numbers look better. If we were to sign Sahin then it will probably be in a separate deal.

According to reports in Globo Esporte in Brazil, it looks like Paris St Germain are going to beat Manchester United to the signing of Lucas Moura after Sir Alex Ferguson failed to convince the midfielder not to head to France. PSG have reportedly offered Sao Paulo more than United for the midfielder, who was apparently told by people that Manchester is a 'boring city'. A medical with PSG is expected to take place on 15th August and Lucas will join the French club in January if they are unable to solve their issue regarding the lack of a spot for a non-EU player

Ed002, I'm not sure if you're still not replying to our posts (thanks PJ..), but I'll give it a crack anyway.. Do you know if PSG are upping their interest in Moura, I.e. preparing a formal bid? Also, with City now appearing to admit defeat, do you think RVP will end up at OT? I know I'm pushing my luck, but thanks anyway.

#ags {Ed002's Note - I really don't want to get in to giving too much detail about Moura now. Before the problem yesterday I did explain that the financial criteria for a transfer had been set by SP and this would need to be met before a transfer could happen and that Inter, even though the transfer fee would be much lower for them, would like complicate matters still by including players. As for RvP, there is certainl a decent chance he will move to OT.}
