@It's funny you should say that because he played for the reserves last night even though he is on loan at Bury. It did cross my mind that they were having a final look at him to decide whether to stick or twist. He is only 19 so I thought they would give him one more year, but if they are trying to trim the squad and stock up some funds, they may well sell him if a decent enough offer comes in. I really don't know mate. I guess time will tell.

dear sydney
"out with the old, in with the new"
ngiak heards there will be quite a significant clearout of the "youth"
ngiak is not sure if its the building up of funds
or if its the great clutch of 16 year olds coming up
or the various south americans
or the scrapping of the reserve league
maybe even 7 to 10 youngsters will be sold, released and loaned out
and. .amazingly the same could happen to the senior squad. .

Manchester United have sold Joe Dudgeon to Hull City for 300k. There is a lot of youth being sold between now and the summer. Making room for some very exciting youth players.

I am a good friends with an important member of staff at the club who I can't reveal. He tells me that there are 7 players that the club are looking at and that the likelihood is that 4 will be signed.
The main target is Wesley Sneijder and SAF is very confident a deal will be done. Sneijder is indicating he wants to join. Other players being looked at are Alexis Sanchez who is another very likely signing, Lassana Diarra, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Shinji Kagawa and David DeGea will be signed.

Im confident Utd Team next Season will be this

DeGea
Rafael Smalling Vidic Evra

Valencia Sneijder Fletcher

sanchez Nani
Rooney

"Everyone remains very patient with de Gea, which can only be right as he has a big decision to make. His current contract with his agent expires in either May or June, depending on who you believe, so the race is on for his signature. At this time I believe Mendes is the frontrunner of a group of agents that are after him, but the player has yet to make a final decision. Manchester United have spoken to de Gea and everybody is now waiting for his decision. All I can say is be patient, people!" - Guillem Balague

I can only see this as good news.

If Mendes does become his agent then I see it as another step forward.

He's got a great history of doing deals with United.

And we all know that Sir Alex met with Mendes last week.

In that same article he went on to say that both kaka and benzema would be put up for sale. Never sure how much to believe with balague, but it's an interesting thought.

Personally I think kaka wouldn't be worth it, but benzema would be a great addition if SAF runs out of patience with Berba!

I have just read that Kun aguero is being monitored by united and chelsea ( according to the players agent )
He has said that these 2 are the most interested however did mention that all other top clubs in europe do keep tabs on him as well.

I can only see him at united if berba goes.
I would like to see united also sign a world class CM (sneijder) as we are missing this kind of player.

what u reckon ed? {Ed001's Note - Ed002 did say a while back that United are trying to get him, this just backs up what he said.}

Please could somebody explain what's been rumoured about Aguero? Would love to see him at United.

Would also love to see Sneijder join too, is there any news about these two? And how likely are they to happen Ed, Sydney!?

T14 {Ed002's Note - All you need to do is look down this page for the past couple of days news and you will see the discussion about Aguero. I don't know what is happening with Sneijder.}

So that would rule us out of a move then wouldn't it 200k a week for aguero is far too much, It baffles me sometimes these players do what can u do with 200k that u can't with 140-150 !

{Ed002's Note - What clubs have been looking at is being creative to find a solution.}

@Is the image rights option, the only creative option Ed?

Sydney!

{Ed002's Note - Players have registered offshore companies in the past - there was one club that routed much of the payments through Monaco. I also recall a French player being paid in oil paintings and cars which exempted him from tax when he moved to play in England. A couple sought but failed to get PT status - which I had myself back in the day. There have been limited companies set up to handle image rights in recent years but I think most of the revenue services are hip to what they see as scams.}
