@United have been scouting Villarreal games Ed, although it's thought they are keeping tabs on Nilmar.

I have not heard of United watching them, though, thinking about it, I do remember reports of them watching games such as Atletico play them when people assumed they were watching De Gea. I have never heard of anyone with any real knowledge suggesting Nilmar though, but that might be his age that makes people assume he is out of the question, he is about 27 isn't he?}

I know alot of people are say de gea is a cetainty, but just recently we have a knack for signing un expected players. i remeber at one point being linked with the villereal keeper, although it being a couple of years ago, deigo lopez i think his name is?
an experianced solid keeper, spanish, so eric steele taking spanish lessons would still fit. he hasnt been mentioned for a while, so maybe a suprise? cheaper than de gea?
would appreciate anythoughs on this. what do you think ed?

Considering berbs age and the fact he has had a great season so value bit higher (around 15-20m) do you think SAF will sell him with his place going to welbeck or renew his contract as he does offer something different to unlock tricky defences
It seems likely that we will sell gibson (5m) macheda (10m) diouf (5m) brown (3m) and owen (2m) although personally i would keep him on a pay as you play deal and work with chicarito and welbeck but can see him going to everton
Have read somewhere that utd may be arranging a friendly with napoli for after the US tour does anyone know if this is true and if so are we looking at anyone in particular?

This lad arda turan is a quality player look him up on youtube. He is a much better player than young and also is only about 23. I doubt we will put a bid in for him but if he goes valencia then a bid for mata would be on the cards. Also if we win the prem and get far in the champions league I think mata would choose us over city. What ya think ed ?
{Ed002's Note - For a bid to be made there has to be interest, and I don't know of any. Manchester City have enquired and I understand (although this information is a week old) that they are expecting a bid to be made.}

@Ed, will he be a replacement for Mata? Do you know where Mata may end up?

Arda Turan at United?
Maybe for me I haven't seen too much of him to say definete but also depends on the price. If we are considering bidding for A Young at about 10-12 million we could equally spend that on him. However if there is someone who is more informed on the player I wouldn't mind some info.

So happy i was wrong about last night! Still not 100% confident about going through though, if anyone can beat us at Old Trafford in a game that defines their season it would be Chelsea. Great result though!
Bit annoyed with the Rooney situation, Probably weakens our chances for the City game. My prediction for that is 0-0 and anyones guess on pens.
Also, My friend, the one that gave me the keeper targets has just told me United are in advanced talks with Galatasaray about signing Arda Turan? Obviously Advanced club talks aren't advanced talks when you look at the scale of the transfer. What do you guys think?

Fee agreed with Atletico for De Gea and United have now spoken directly with De Gea, I'm waiting to find out how the talks went. Hopefully United are now closing in on the lad, he is going to be one of the best keepers in the world soon!
