Hey Ed's just wondering do United have any interest in Yann M'Vila of Ruben Kazan? I heard last week that Everton and Arsnal both have an interest in the player. {Ed002's Note - M'Vila is still of interest to Everton and Fenerbahce.}

Thanks Ed, I believe he would be an upgrade on all of our current crop of midfielders and would cost a lot less than what Fellaini cost us, plus we will need a new midfielder as Carrick is getting on now.

I've been reading up abit on Faouzi Ghoulam since we've beem linked to him. From what i've read he seems like he could be a good option to sign for the much needed LB position.

But I haven't seen him play, so I will be watching him from now on. I just wondered if anyone on here has seen him play and can give me abit more insight. I'm looking at you Mick. Lol.

This is weird. I was just going to write a piece on him so here it goes.

Defensively speaking, he is solid. The kid is tall and strong, rarely ever gets caught out of position. He manages to shut a winger completely off in some games, it's impressive.

He is athletic, not Antonio Valencia athletic but still good. He is quite strong and his heading is good. His tackling is well timed and assured, but at times he can be drawn into a tackle he should not be making.

Now in attack, he's definitely not the most blessed attacker ( Alex Sandro ) but he doesn't look out of place. I've also never seen him get dispossessed, never. He is not like Evra, as in a high flying dribbler, but he offers a constant threat out wide. He's a rather average crosser, but so are Evra and Rafael so.

His biggest flaw is definitely his passing. I've heard a commentator say he has one of the worst passing accuracy percentage in the league. he needs to improve that big time.

What I love most about him though is that he is relatively two footed. While he is predominantly left footed, he can occasionally cut inside and pass/ cross, which can be very useful at times. His vision is impressive for a defender.

All in all he would not be my first choice ( Alex Sandro has that position, followed closely by Coentrao ) he would be a better option than Baines, since he offers an advantage similar to Evra and has more to his attacking game than crossing from deep, and is never going to get skinned for pace or strength as it often happens to Baines ( when Valencia dropped him on his bottom ) Moreno who might not adapt to the physical demands of the league, and an overpriced young Englishman who seems to support Chelsea.

Cheers Mick, I knew you'd have a good idea about him.

Mick, does Alex Sandro have a buy-out clause as is the case with most (if not all) Porto players? And to Ed002, do you know of any perceived interest in Alex Sandro from Manchester United?

Thank you. {Ed002's Note - I suspect you don't understand the "buy out" clauses at all and I don't see any point in my explaining yet again. Previously Napoli and Dinamo Kyiv showed an interest in Alex Sandro but now Inter are looking.}

Fytzm, I have no knowledge of players' contracts. Ed002 is the expert in the matter

Hi Eds, with it being reported that Ever Banega is wanting to move in January I wondered whether he is a player that has been looked at by Manchester United and whether or not he would be the sort of player we need in the midfield.

I personally think he's add to the Midfield, and that he's a good player. {Ed002's Note - Southampton and Fiorentina placed bids for Banega over the summer but they were well below the asking price. Spurs also made enquiries. Napoli, Lazio, Roma and and Inter Milan have all been approached about the player in recent weeks.}

Thanks Ed002

Hey guys,
Thanks for the response yesterday ed002 really appreciate it.great to have you back today we are linked again with Alberto Montreal of Sevilla, please say there's some truth in it?is there anything in will hughes yet no?thanks guys {Ed002's Note - Alberto Moreno perhaps. I think it unlikely that Alberto Moreno will be sold in the January transfer window. The full release clause for Spanish clubs is being asked by Sevilla and that has so far put off interest from Chelsea, Spurs and Real Madrid. Manchester United may well be one of the clubs that has also had him looked at.}
