Rumour has it that we are going to test Lyon's resolve and offer £28.5million for Lacazette.

Jesus that would be awesome and would fit in so well a beast of a striker

Dream signing for me but all of the Eds have killed any hope l had in that.

No chance at all, he is going to PSG, if he moves this year- 100% sure and in the press here in Lyon

I think we'll try to get Benzema - use De Gea to oil the wheels. Ramos will stay at RM, was a smokescreen

Before i start this is in no way a criticism and I hope the eds don't take offence it's purely a comment about how fast things change in the football world.

All the eds have mentioned in the past how quick things can change, and no I'm not privy to any inside information, however a month ago lacazette was unlikely to move at all. Now all of a sudden it looks as if he may well move, that said although psg may well be favourites for this reason I'm not going to rule out Man Utd we are after all in need of a striker should Hernandez and RVP move on.

Ed002 on Arsenal named the 3 clubs who are interested in him, PSG, Chelsea and Roma. Let's see falcao get a game if he goes to Chelski

Just read on the European page someone ask something about lacazette and ed002 responded saying he is probably going to leave but obviously not to Liverpool, could anyone tell me why that's obvious? Ed002 if you can?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed004's Note - PSG}

08 Jul 2015 20:07:36
Maybe because they have Ings practically sorted and Benteke on the radar.

Agree1 Disagree0

08 Jul 2015 20:16:12
Obviously not to liverpool because why would he move to a mid table club

Agree8 Disagree0

08 Jul 2015 21:12:14
Why not Liverpool. He has a brain and wants champions league football something he'll never get there, EVER!

Agree0 Disagree0

08 Jul 2015 21:46:30
They are the answers I expected from the posters and the answers I thought myself but I wanted to know the real reason that he couldn't be going to them. Thank you to ed004 for clearing it up!

Eds, many media outlets are reporting that RVP is on the verge of joining Fenerbahce. Any substance in these rumours? Are united actively looking to sell him? Thank you

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Yes.}

08 Jul 2015 18:50:42
They are quite shamelessly hawking around every club in Eurpope hoping that someone will buy him. He is gone

Agree3 Disagree3

08 Jul 2015 19:12:11
Gets him off wage bill, we don't need a sulking rvp making a nuisance in the dressing room

Agree4 Disagree0

08 Jul 2015 19:26:29
how are they shamelessly hawking him around, he has asked the club to find him a new club as he is not guaranteed first team football anymore,

it suits both parties if we sell him.

08 Jul 2015 19:57:00
spb He does not want to leave and would happily see out his contract. He has definitely not asked to leave. You are mistaken

Is that an imposter above or the real KLOOT? Almost missed as much as Ed002 on this page. I will get my jesters hat on just for you kloot if it's you, seeing as you used to accuse mr of wearing one.

Agree1 Disagree1

08 Jul 2015 20:29:29
Of course he would like to see out his contract, doesn't he get a £12 million loyalty payment then.
Just saying

08 Jul 2015 22:22:49
Shame if it's true about van persie. He was in fine form when Fergie was in charge , maybe van gaal,s style of play doesn't fit van persie . still a bit of a worry that we are letting decent squad players leave with out too many replacements comming in.
Like I said in an earlier post , fingers crossed there is plenty of wheeling and dealing going on behind closed doors .
And I don't mean ed china and mike brewer.
Cheers

Agree0 Disagree1

08 Jul 2015 23:27:21
kloot from what i have heard he has spoken to lvg and was told he isn't guaranteed first team football on a regular basis anymore, and lvg was happy to keep him as backup, which something rvp wasn't 100 percent happy with.

Agree3 Disagree0

09 Jul 2015 11:53:48
The two big issues for RVP seem to be playing regularly and his kids schooling. He is unlikely to be playing regularly at MU and IMO he comes across as a bit of a fair weather player so i would not be heartbroken to see him go. Surely if he does it will leave us light up front unless we have someone as good already in the bag.
Regarding Fenerbace, is this going to tick the box for his kids? Merely posing the questions.

ED do you see us bringing in a surprising signing like how we signed Falcao(his performances for us aside, he was a big surprising signing) last season?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

{Ed004's Note - Hopefully}

08 Jul 2015 17:00:42
Just been reading a report of us bringing back Carlos Tevez??

Yes. Alexsander Mitrovič!

09 Jul 2015 02:33:18
I'm actually convinced that we are to make an elite signing, probably already organised. It will be unveiled when he adidas deal kicks in

09 Jul 2015 12:15:39
Longsightred, Mitrovic, what have you heard my friend? This young Serb striker will eventually be sh*thot! Hope he's signed!

08 Jul 2015 15:03:39
I hope it is media lies, but it being reported that florentino Perez has told the head of Al Jezira sport that De gea is a done deal for around £28m plus add on's.

It is false hope I know, but I wish he would stay. If the figures quoted are right at least we are getting an ok price considering he has a year left on his contract. It's a lot better than the original £13m offered.

Now there is just the small matter of signing a replacement, a CB, a DM and potentially a striker.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

08 Jul 2015 16:46:20
I want to agree, but I would like it over with, his actions have spoken louder than words.
He won't have fans behind him like he has at Utd, and he may realise that soon enough. Hopefully we get a good replacement in.

Agree4 Disagree0

08 Jul 2015 17:27:52
We should accept that Ddg will go for film reasons. get.the deal done as early as possible. I have said from the start £25m is a good price with 1 year left. not his value but when all added up a good price.
We need time to explore the market eitherfor new number 1 or top youngster to llearn from valdes.

Agree2 Disagree0

08 Jul 2015 18:19:05
Anything over £25m would be good business imo.

28 million plus add ons possible raising to 33 million, if its the same article I've read.

we have gotten a great price considering his contract and not many keepers go for so much.

09 Jul 2015 11:39:59
With Iker Casillas going to Porto, and RM being without a true 1st choice keeper, does this put MU in a stronger bargaining position?

08 Jul 2015 14:47:38
Ed004, everything has gone extremely quiet over arturo vidal since the copa which to me is surprising. After all the talk of arsenal then Madrid buying him it now seems he's set to stay at juventus. Do you see that happening, if not which teams are most likely to get him? Thanks

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed004's Note - There is a chance he will leave with apparently the likes of Arsenal, Madrid etc interested but I think he will stay}

08 Jul 2015 17:29:17
Having lost pirlo and likely pogback now or in Jan I.can see him staying with marchisio taking them forward.

Sorry for the predictable question Eds but is a deal for schneiderlin to United close ? Really getting nervous that we may lose out on such an obvious solution to a lot of our midfield problems.

Hi eds, reading a few articles regarding West ham being linked with Rafael plus another club in Southampton can you shed any light as would be ideal to use him in the schniderlin deal.
Cheers

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed004's Note - I don't know of any interest in Rafael}

Rumour that Atletico are after Rui Patricio, the Sporting Keeper . Wonder could this have anything to do with Oblak moving elsewhere ?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

09 Jul 2015 12:32:02
Jan Oblak would be an awesome signing! At 22/23 he's already a good keeper, a few years with us, world beater!

Only reporting what I have read in the French sports press which is very pro PSG so normally quite reliable.
Also hints that Lacazette will be moving afterall with Fékir signing a new contract extension at Lyon.
For United I would prefer Muller over a Lacazette or a Benzema anyday.

08 Jul 2015 11:42:51
Am i the only one getting sick of Di Maria rumours?
He said he wanted to stay and prove himself and more importantly, I hope we are not falling into the trap of signing a player one year then selling him the next. All sorts of mecenaries will be trying to get moves.
