I have it on very very good authority from a very high source in the club that this week saw a massive dent in the Jose to be next manager camp. The package was going to be Jose as manager with Brian Kidd as his assistant, but his antics during the last week have scared certain people off the idea. This is not a rumour it is 100% fact. Now this is just total SPECULATION, but on twitter, Wesley Sneijder as started to write in English, whereas two or three months back, it was all in Italian/ Dutch. Could this be a sign of his intentions to move to England and possibly United? Only a rumour, don't shoot the messenger!

Like sydney and mpez have stated I have just heard that the deal for sneijder is virtually done. Fee agreed is roughly 28 million which is a fair price in my opinion and wages are not a problem as the only way this deal has happened is sneijders eagerness to come to united. City were interested but was told player didn't want to go. Great deal for united what do u guys think

Number 19 is on it's way, in other news as MPez and Syd have said Sniejder to United is almost done. Well done as far as done can be before the window officially opens. Haven't heard anything on this from people I know before but was told today 'it's almost done'! Don't know what to think really great player vision goals assists but would have preferred Luka Modric to be honest. More the kind of player we need.

Does anyone have any real info on sneijder? I was told by an Italian friend of mine that everyone over in Italy and inter that a deal is virtually agreed and they are anticipating him moving on. thanks

I was told we are taking a good look at Christian Eriksen of Ajax. Could be a hell of a player anyone know anything about any contact with Ajax.

I am not one for making up rumours and I am not about to start now, but I have just heard that Sneijder is nearly wrapped up, as people know, I have never been in favour of Sneijder signing, but it's what I have heard.

We are being gazzumped over Sneijder by City. We will match the Fee of 35mill but we won't give him over200k a week which is what he wants. City have offered him 250k a week in the last 24hrs thru his reps. Lets just hope he wants real football instaed of an extra few quid.MikeM
