What happened to Varela. haven't heard anything about him for some time. We keep hearing about janko though, who also plays in the same position. Thanks
Varela was given a couple of months to go back to Uruguay where his parents have been involved in a serious car accident.
He came back a couple of months ago and has been ever present in the U21 lineups at rb, along with Janko who has been playing as a winger.
Personally next season I hope Rafael remains our right back with one of Janko or Vareka deputising him.
Varela isn't physically ready for the Prem, Janko on the other hand could do quite well.
