Is Matuidi able to sign a pre contract agreement this month ed for the summer? Do you think he is likely to be sold in this window otherwise?

I think definitely worth trying to sign as a stopgap. A good player who is relatively inexpensive and provides another option for CM.

I would sign him permanent he's class. Better than we have got and cheap enough to keep the glazers happy

Mate he will not be cheap, I can assure you of that. If he were to leave PSG, there would be many takers and his sign on bonus would be substantial.

I do not believe PSG have any intension of selling him as he is playing every game for them at the moment.

Reports are circulating that United have submitted bids for Marchisio and Pjanic. I was wondering if either is true and what the likelihood of signing either or both in January, considering both are valued at over 20 million.

It was rumoured last year that Juve were looking to sell Marchisio as they had decided on Vidal/Pogba as their 2 CM's. With us being linked to Vidal maybe just maybe they offered him instead. Would he improve our mid? almost certainly, is he as good as Vidal? Hell no but very few are. He can certainly play and create.

Hi ed you say you are not aware of actual bid, are you aware of any form of communication between the clubs concerning named player?

LOL though I should be crying. Just read we were in touch with Roma, who replied they would not consider any offers under £30m for Pjanic, so we offer 25m. If Ed:02 says its untrue I believe but it seems typical of how we do business atm.

Thing is, we keep getting linked with all sorts of players and have 100m burning a hole in our pocket but we all know I reality we haven't and won't buy anything of note in January, Vidal would be perfect and could only be bought with a huge offer not a bargain hunting bid, the club will regret not spending big money to get players now as we won't get them in the summer if we don't qualify for the champions league.

Roma are saying several offers have been received for Pjanic. I presume we are interested but Roma are doing very well this season and would not be interested in anything less than £30m.
Would be a great buy for us.
