Eds, could you give any potential targets for united regarding a striker, would we be looking to add a world class striker? A young name, youngsters through the club or shuffle the pack a little and play Rooney up top with mata in behind maybe?

Hi Ed, would we not bring up one of the youngters to replace Hernandez, like Henriquez or possibly Keane? seems pointless to bring in another youngster when we have decent options
Ed002, is there any news on the Hernandez? And wouldn't it make sense to sign someone like Griezmann (example) who can play LW in place of Young, but also play as a striker if need be?
{Ed002's Note - Manchester United's Hernandez turned down a move to Valencia in the summer but still has Monaco, Inter, Spurs and Atletico Madrid interested. A representative of the player did discuss his potential availability with two other clubs in the summer but neither were interested.
Atletico Madrid, Valencia, Marseille, Rennes, Fiorentina and Lyon have shown some interest in Griezmann in the past year and repordedly Barcelona tool a look at one time. Whilst the kid has said on several occasions that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon, the financial problems being faced by Real Sociedad may still see him leave the club in the summer. He has had a good season which have led to enquiries being made by Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea; and Manchester United and PSG having the player watched on more than one occasion.}
