Ok I know it's silly season.
But what about dele Ali. Rice and grealish In the Utd squad. if one wanted to come which one would you take? Or all three!
Sell a) pogba, b) mc Tom, c) lingard, d) Fred e) de beek.

Sell Lingard bring in Rice. Sell Pogba because he wants to go by all accounts and sell Fred because he can be upgraded on but bring in someone else other than Grealish or Alli. Saul or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic or maybe even Bissouma.

Rice would be the one I'd bring in. Great player, good attitude and plays in a position we need someone for.

Alli looks to have gone way off the boil, hasn't been good for over 2 years. Grealish is having a great season and looks a player, I wonder if he has the right attitude or whether he could deal with being a regular fish in a huge pond so to speak. While I'm not sure there is a natural place for him in our first team. He plays best at No.10 or LW which is Bruno's and Rashford's best positions, and they are arguably our best outfield players. So do you crowbar him in on the right? or do you shunt Rashford to the right to play Grealish on the left? Neither are ideal. So is he then a rotation option? Do you spend 100m on a player to sit on the bench? I don't think so.

Pogba I'd sell, Fred I'd keep for a season or two yet. He has been one of our best players this season. He has clear faults to his game, but he is still performing better than most.

Marcus was superb on the left last night, and there is always Martial, who, on his day, can be a game changer.

I think the left is well covered. The right needs investment, even if these two new kids are half as good as made out.

Why would SMS play DM. He is a CM. He would play as a CM, box to box. But we won't be signing him realistically.

Fred is easily our best DM at the moment.
Ideally I would like us to go for Rice and Fred as his backup.

Pogba wants to leave, so no point in keeping him. Ed said we have a ready made replacement in VDB.

Grealish is becoming one of the best in EPL and for England. But he would cost of fortune.
Instead it would be wise to spend that money on Rice and Upamecano/ Pau Torres.
