Mehdi Taremi has been linked, anyone know anything about him?

Porto apparently need money for FFP so a double swoop for him and Costa could be on. Sort that and back to fixinf the rest of the squad?

{Ed002's Note - Mehdi Taremi (S) Marseille are keen to take him this summer but there is a huge gap in valuation given he will soon be 31. Lille has him on a short-list of striker targets but I doubt at the top. }

Getting bit panicky here too as we desperately need a striker…

RUMOURS suggest that Joel Glazer is blocking Ronaldos exit (obvious commercial value, most important thing to JG allegedly) which then has a knock on on effect for any incoming striker targets who won’t want to play second fiddle to CR (ie Sesko) plus paying his huge wages impacting on finances for another striker.

Ideally, CR woukd have left, freeing up his wages to sign another striker and allowing incoming to be enticed by being main forward Manchester United not run on sensible footballing decisions nowadays.

Maybe there’s a decent striker out there who’s cheap and doesn’t mind being back up….

To be honest if JG is refusing to sanction Ronaldo's departure then the solution is simple. Refuse to play him.

See how beneficial Ronaldo is to the commercial value when he's sitting in the stands and all the bad press that will be around because of it.

Pretty sure Ronaldo in the stands would tank the share price and impact comment revenue far more than him leaving.

Ronaldo has only ever looked out for ronaldo. should never have been brought back and now his circus is ramping up to the max. I hope Eth is back in this situation, weather that is getting rid, or being aloud to bench him as much as he sees fit. Hopefully it's getting rid.

We should be aiming to have Ronaldo gone in the next couple of weeks, but looks like he is going to end up staying.

Despite this, there is no chance at all of him being a bit part player if he does stay. He's our best player. Suddenly hoping Ronaldo is benched or dropped entirely to have Martial take his place is also a weird one as Martial was desperate to leave earlier this year and he'd be the one taking his place. Ronaldo's behaviour can probably be labeled disrespectful to the club but you can't accuse him of lacking professionalism in terms of his dedication to his sport, Martial has had that criticism of him for the last few years.

Why’s everyone panicking? let ETH do the panicking and just enjoy the season, noting we can do about, never has been so just back the manager. If he was signing Benni Macarthy to be out starting number 9 then maybe I’d be a bit concerned (although there could be worse) and as for Glazer blocking Ronaldo’s departure, i’m fairly confident it’s Ronaldo’s and his agents demands/expectations that are blocking any move.
