Firstly, If Ed loves the club as he says, then he should let someone else have a go to see if they can get this group of players to perform. Loved ole the player but he's so far out of his depth it's sad for him to suffer this exposure.

The one big question is what's the succession plan. There must be one for a business of the size of United. For me if pochettino or allegri are available and willing to take the job then both would be an improvement.

Secondly, if I were the glazers I'd want to know why the "amateurs" are continually wasting the clubs and ultimately their money, the signings for years have not only been poor quality but over paying too. I don't want to speak about players In isolation but Fred for £52m yet Arsenal get partey for £45m.

An experienced director of football with a clear plan coupled with a superior manager / head coach either getting the most from the current bunch whilst also integrating the young talent that the club has been managing to procure during the past 18 months.

Ole was let down in the past window with his targets not brought in. I sympathise with him on that but so would Moyes, van gaal and mourinho as they suffered the same, ole will surely suffer their fate of losing his role soon enough unless he's brave enough to stand up and make the call himself.

I like Traore but would prefer Pedro Neto, still on an upwards curve, consistent good delivery and only 20. Him plus a RB would be my targets for this window. With a CB, DM (long term matic replacement), CM (pogba replacement) and a right sided forward (mata replacement) in the summer.
Would be good to move on romero, dalot, rojo, jones. lingard as they fall below first team standard.
Matic and mata towards end of career
Can’t see pogba remaining past the summer despite upturn in form and commitment.
