man utd offered last take it or leave it deal to barca of 40 million euro approx £35 m paid in 1 instalment. I have it on good authority this deal will conclude on Friday. he will be allocated the no 9 shirt

Being a die hard united fan for over 38 years we all seem to agree on here with the midfield & defence being a problem I would like to see falaini because he gets stuck in something we are lacking badly and febragas in that midfield with Rooney just in front supplying rvp and welbeck but leaking goals at the back comes from the goalkeepers & none of them give me any confidence & vise eversa for the defence we need to start by signing a proven keeper like we did in van Der sat gea gea and the others will probably be good in the future but not man u players yet Anthony

If that's the case give him the #10 shirt and RVP the #9. If Rooney stays give him the #7. Valencia shouldn't be given the 7, more like #77.

Anthony are you joking about? We need a new keeper, De Gea's not good enough now? He was selected to be in the Premier League best XI which basically means he was the highest rated keeper of last season. He's bulked up a lot and said he enjoys the physical side of the Prem, that was the only thing holding him back. I have no doubts he'll be the best keeper in the world within 3 years.

Who cares what shirt number he is just sign him up!

Antony you don't know a proper world class holding or defensive midfielder if he came up and kicked you in the face!and it looks like you haven't a clue about goalkeepers either. I think the #6 or #15 will be available before the window closes - not that I want Vida to go - but heard that he is wanted by Barca amongst others and Utd are looking at Garay.
