Do you know what, I'm sick of reading utd have bid rejected stories, we've eased into countless sponsorship deals without the stupid stories of how we nearly had a partnership with bloody Dunlop but no they go straight through, how about aiming a little high and spending the massive extra tv money rather than low to save a million and lose they player, first bid of 45m would probably of signed fabregas instead of offering the same amount Liverpool signed Henderson . Totally fed up with this window now

I agree with you Dustbin. It's disheartening because it makes the club look timid and weak. The fans love the excitement of a new player and surely getting them in sooner would generate more marketing funds from new player shirts at the least so haggling for these smaller amounts seems petty! I'm sure the money is there and I'm all for negotiating hard but this is frustrating. Made even worse when you hear that Spurs are going for the likes of Erickson for a bargain £12m

Wait till the big company's stop with the big sponsorship deals with us as there's "no value in the market" won't be long before they see what we see, a huge lack of investment. In all jobs you need to re-invest in new equipment or lose out to your competitors, if a builders got a favourite drill that's performed really well for him (giggs/scholes/etc)but is at the of its working life, he needs to replace it with a top quality one like makita (Fabregas/ozil/mata)not a black and decker DIY one (Fellani etc) as the customer ( Chevrolet/Nike, future fans etc) who sees him using cheap inadequate tools will and choose someone else who are investing in the decent quality tools (spurs/Chelsea/city etc)
So to summise, a cheap drill may work a few times, but if you want quality, pay for it and stop penny pinching.

Should have just put decent bids in for Fabregas and Modric at the start. Our dodgy midfield could have been sorted out weeks ago.

5.) 30 Aug 2013
By who. according to Everton we haven't even gone back in with another bid.
Where is the proof that we even offered 38 million?

6.) 30 Aug 2013
All clubs bid low for players its the way it works otherwise Chelsea would've £35mil for Rooney and Spurs wouldn't try and get Hernandez for a reputed $7 mil.Do Madrid look weak for not paying the Spurs asking price on bale?

7.) 30 Aug 2013
Fellaini may not be a Makita but he's not a Black & Decker either.More like a Bosch I would suggest!

There is no truth to this. First of all Everton has not confirmed if there has been another bid and are keeping silent on it. Reading between the lines of and various statements from Martinez, it sounds like they are leaving and he is not involved in the negotiations.

United is also not confirming or denying anything and it is the media stirring it up and certain fans can't wait to slag woodward and moyes for it. Wait until tuesday morning and we can all have a rant or feel pretty good about our dealings.
