Another bid for Herrera turned down - It seems Woodchip was in the remedial class at school as he's a very slow learner - pay the clause and get the player - as Moyes apparently consults SAF regularly then maybe Woodchip could arrange some tuition from David Gill - if he can't do the business (we'll see come Mon) then questions need to be asked

Where did you hear of "another" bid for Herrera being turned down? I don't seem to find anything.

Jeff Stelling mentioned that Bilbao have announced a second unsuccessful bid by Utd - didn't catch the amount though but he obviously hasn't quite got the hang of this whole transfer thing

It's on Twitter that united won't go to €36million. Surely if you're willing to pay €30million then an extra €6million won't break the bank, will it?

Son of Sir matt, I think it's probably a way of United trying to haggle the price! If so then it's bloody stupid trying to save money this late in the window. Yes we're usually a sensible club in the market and hardly ever over pay for a player but when it's right at the end of the window and we desperately need a couple of decent midfields we shouldn't be messing about. Can we blame it on Woodwood? Or is it the glazers? Starting to get on my t!ts.
