So tv say United are in talks with Ozil's representatives, then United sources tell sky they aren't interested in Ozil.

My question then is why? I thought we were "always interested in the best players"? Ozil is world class and should be chased til the last minute.

The sports channel that you are referring to have said MU have spoken to Oezil's representatives. Sources from within MU are saying we are not interested in signing Oezil, also from sources from the sports channel. So who's telling porkies? Now the sports channel could be telling porkies to offset the odds, Oezil's representatives could be telling porkies to try and get a better contract for their client or MU could be telling porkies as they do not want people to know we are going for Oezil so he would be easier to sign, IE less chance of a gazumping?
